+1 Anyone land any Pre-Robin Tecs recently? Just got this in yesterday.. A nice upgrade and early X-mas gift to myself AMAZING. Any story behind this one? I believe he was tempted by the devil for this book and all it cost was a piece of his soul. Sweet book well worth the price I believe this book is from the Diamon Run collection. This book was definitely a nice upgrade for my pre-robin 4.0ish club. What did you have before? A 3.5 blue now in my collection It's nice when we can all upgrade! outside of 1st Joker and the yellow cover, I'm Tec 29 with no Robin all the way. I like the "Dark" in Dark Knight. Plus, the Tec 29 first part (of 2) story is the best in the Pre Robin run...Tec 29 way scarcer than Bat 1 too..

no staining (thumbs u extremely clean and bright...why the 4.0 grade you think Brian? The only defects I could see of the book are the top and bottom spine splits. if it weren't for that, probably would grade around an 8.0-8.5.. Or I can have the splits sealed ... NO!

Have you ever seen an AF15 in 5.0 like that with white pages? AF #15 seems to be a tough book to find with white pages. Might have something to do with the paper roll they used? Hulk #1 on the other hand has a dark cover making it impossible to find in higher grades but the paper quality generally tends to be on the better (or white) side for many copies. I've noticed the same thing..for example, FFs 6-11 tend to have ow/w pages..esp #6, always good PQ on that for some reason...not sure if the paper had anything to do with it as it should have been the same, cheap paper for all the Marvels at that time...
