Captain America 100 white variant. Anybody know more about it?
Primetime replied to buttock's topic in Silver Age Comic Books
The white variant is less common for sure. Not sure why the white and yellow exist. I personally like the white one more. @Ameri might have some insight as why the versions exist as he bought a dozen 100s right off his neighborhood newsstand in ‘68 -

My 33 is raw and is definitely a big bed sheet 64 pager. I’ve owned a 34 and 35 long ago and think I remember them as large 64 pagers. 36 is definitely smaller. -

A friend of mine went to Pearl Harbor and took this photo. He said it was a submarine at pearl harbor and it showed where the soldiers slept and stayed; it showed memorabilia from that time during WWII. I wonder if that is a Cap 27 prop or a borrowed real copy from the owner? @808Timelys @loboagain -

Yah and I believe Cap 28 is the first in the run that was cut down from 16 wraps (64 pages) to 14 wraps (56 pages). Cap 41 was the last to have 14 wraps before they cut down to 12 wraps (48 pages) with Cap 42. also, I remember Cap 34-35 still being big bedsheet books..? I think 36 is when they started to get a little skinny. 37 is certainly a smaller book. -

Here’s my 19. I always have to include the X-men 1 house ad (even though I see it was posted recently). Here are a few fun fan letters that I have circled.

Nice big full date stamp, Steve 😉

My favorite memory of the 17 was pulling a copy from a dealers box as a kid at a hotel con in the mid 80s. I think I bought it for less than $10 and went home to read it and saw that the bottom of the splash page was signed by some guy named Stan Lee 😆 I ended up trading it away a few years later towards an FF 8.
