  1. If I sell the comics I want to sell this weekend. I plan on getting another cover I have been eyeing. Looking to downsize my collection while at the same time making it more enjoyable to me. Can't argue with that logic. I've been thinking of doing something similar myself.
  2. Friggin sweet! Ken Barr is so underappreciated.
  3. Day 17. Still "Verified." Hell, I should have submitted it regular Economy. I might have gotten it back faster. Day 18 "Scheduled for Grading" Whoah, I had the submission date wrong on this one. My bad. It's actually day 20 of my 20 day submission. As of rooster crow tomorrow, this Fast Track submission is late. Day 23 Grading/Quality Control Day 25 Grading/Quality Control Day 26 Shipped

  5. I agree. I was dissappointed by all 4 grades to be honest, but I was especially shocked at the 8.0 on the Conan #1. I've seen graded 9.4's that look much worse. I struggle to find a flaw on the book in hand. I'm not going to lie, it's made me feel a bit gunshy about sending in any more books. Could be a stain or light foxing. Perhaps I'll bite the bullet and pay for the graders notes. The business model works! Like making people pay extra for guaranteed turnaround times that really aren't guaranteed.

  7. Yeah, if you'd given them a few more days to grade your book, they might have come up with a different number.
  8. Should be given away by now. Indeed it has. Been looking for that one in 9.8 for a while now....could never seem to find them in the dollar bins. I found it in the two dollar bin. You should try looking there.
  9. Should be given away by now. Indeed it has.
  10. Mycomicshop.com I have it listed at like 50 bucks.
  11. Now you are just shopping your inventory, you dirty dog. Those are not for sale. ...yet.
  12. Went to "scheduled for grading today". 13 business days. To be "on time" they would have to grade/quality control and ship" by tomorrow. Business day 16. Still sitting at scheduled for grading on a 15 day submission. I would imagine I will not be getting a grade on this single book until early next week. Figuring that it should be done by business day 22-23. That's late by 32%. Not a complaint, just stating what it is. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's complaining.

  15. Could have been better, but not a bad weekend. (thumbs u
  16. Can't wait for all your sales threads - per book. Your wait will soon be over.
  17. The fact that they were delivered on my birthday doesn't make up for the tardiness.
  18. Without being an apologist, they do use the word "estimated" not "guaranteed" when talking about the turnaround times. Perhaps you missed this, so I'll quote it again... So they say they'll cut the turn-around time in half. Moderns are listed at being 90 business days right now. Doesn't that mean that they'll refund when the Fast Tracks take 45 business days to come back? "Doesn't meet the stated turnaround" The half turnaround was before they were posting actual turnaround times for FT on the website. The CGC website says "10 days" for modern FT. They are over that. As a matter o fact, I looked through my past invoices and my last 4 FT submissions were all late by many days. Will I get a check or just get a credit on the account? Your quote is also from 2007 when FT rates were $8 more, not $10 like they are now. After all this time, do you REALLY think that CGC cares that they are running behind on FTs and will refund anyone their money? There is a better chance of Dupcake going legit selling comics and e-bay becoming seller friendly than there is of CGC giving refunds because the Fast Track service is running behind. Since they've never stated that the turnaround is no longer guaranteed, a blind man would guess that they still guarantee it. Then call them and demand your refund. Anyone complaining about the fact that Fast Tracks are running late and not calling CGC on the phone and confronting them is just posturing and whining just to hear themselves cry. Posting about it here on the boards won't get anything done about it. Call them or get off the pot. I called. They laughed at me. That's why I'm raising nine kinds of mess smell about it here.
