  1. You better hope someones off the rag since thats technically "masking" Yeah, because "" is too risqué for PG13.
  2. I'm pretty sure that the shipping department's job is to ship and the QC's job is to QC. Unfortunately the job of Customer Service, as the face of the company, to hear people person_without_enough_empathy from both sides.
  3. After you get berated for the 100,000th time regarding TAT's that you have no control over, how much empathy would you have? Doesn't matter. They should do their job. Ironically, when I'm at work that's what I'm expected to do.
  4. How could she deny you, the awesome DiceX of your precious porno? Yeah, I don't know what the hell I was thinking.
  5. Yup. I used to stash porn in my comics back when I was married to a frigid person_without_enough_empathy who frowned upon such activity.
  6. I'll wager that PGX has less than .1% of the market.
  7. I was a moderator on four Ebay comic book chat forums, for about 6 months. Those chat rooms went out of business. Due to a lack of interest, I think. But during my time on there, I found it easy to moderate. Piece of cake actually. What I didn't catch, other moderators did. There were no notify buttons. You read the threads and made judgement calls. It is easy to spot infractions if you are reading it all. Many of the people posting on those Ebay sites, are on this site. The same ones that were always in arguments, and often doing the personal attack thing, are the same ones who do it on this CGC site. The Ebay chat forums had much more venom than this CGC forum. Noooo! Say it isn't so! When you do not get paid for being a moderator. You lose interest in it quickly. It is like being a referee or umpire in sports. It usually makes you disliked. It rarely makes you liked. Except by the very few that feel the need to suck up to authority. Those types are in every aspect of society and business, and are known to all who pay attention. The only people that like umpires, are those whose team wins on a bad call. Obvious calls go unnoticed. As they should. A guy catches a fly ball and is called out. Big deal. The referees and umpires, should not be in the spotlight. They, for the most part, should go unheralded and unnoticed. CAL recharging the repulsor rays.. AKA the Birth Control Device.
  8. He buys them off of teenage girls that have gotten too old to read them anymore.
  9. CGC charges $10 for graders notes? Really? Yup
  10. What got the axe? I can't say I remember anything in it juicy enough to be edited out.
  11. Verified - 4/9 Graded - 4/16 Based on that, it looks like they're ahead of schedule. I count 9 business days. Does anyone know how long it takes from being graded to go through encapsulation to quality control? Right now? - One to two weeks. Or three The concentration seems to be on regular subs. I was told my FT could take another 3 weeks. They've been there one week already. So that's four weeks just to get FT in a slab. But they'll be at C2E2 taking submissions. Don't worry. Turnarounds are getting better.
  12. Yeah, but imagine if CGC graded and shipped their submissions in the turnaround times posted on the website they maintain.
  13. Considering how many SS subs CGC gets, that's just not realistic. Any why should convention subs be singled out here? It's silly to blame the TAT slowdowns on just convention subs - CGC has seen an increase of submissions across this board which is causing the slowdown. If anything, they should stop accepting mail-in books and only accept convention subs till the backlog has been cleared ... Someone there at CGC just told Dice fast track was behind because of convention subs. Considering the number of cons this time of year, it doesn't look real good for fast track. That was my thoughts. What are they going to do next week? And the week after that? And the week after that? And the week after that? again!
  14. Doesn't matter. They're changing their song mid-stroke. I looked at a calendar and determined WHEN I needed the books back to me and paid what I had to pay to get them here. From the beginning Fast Track has never been late and CGC initially guaranteed the books would be shipped by the stated turnarounds on all Fast Track submissions. Now, through no fault of my own, MY plans are being changed even though we were told that CGC hired more graders, employed a second shift AND that turnarounds were getting better.
  15. No, but I could tell I probably wasn't the first to call and complain about it and they really didn't care anything about discussing it.
  16. I just called to find out about my submission and was told Fast Track is no longer guaranteed, and that a wild guess on my Modern FT sub is going to probably be over 30 days. I commented that I thought turnaround was getting better and was told that it IS getting better but they can't keep up when they have convention submissions. I said that the website says that Fast Tracks are ON TIME and was told that they are on time...when they're not processing convention submissions. I asked about being refunded for paying extra money for Fast Track and was laughed at. Unbelievable. Someone from CGC needs to manup and address this NOW.
  17. Once the late FT tier gets everyone good and pissed, prepare for the announcement about the new "Super Fast Track" which will let you actually get your Fast Tracks on time for an extra $25 per book. (thumbs u
