  1. Without being an apologist, they do use the word "estimated" not "guaranteed" when talking about the turnaround times. Perhaps you missed this, so I'll quote it again...
  2. Lets NOT give them credit. My modern submission took exactly 177 Days. Haha why should we give them credit? They are failing to meet their turnaround times. And failing to give refunds on Fast Track fees when they don't meet those turnaround times.
  3. Sorry for being crabby but I don't like being laughed at when I have a legitimate complaint, AND I'm tired of the runaround. Nah, that was a general comment on your post awesomeness. Crabbiness re TAT is understandable. But I think TATs have gotten a leeetle better lately, no? No

  5. Day 17. Still "Verified." Hell, I should have submitted it regular Economy. I might have gotten it back faster. Day 18 "Scheduled for Grading" Whoah, I had the submission date wrong on this one. My bad. It's actually day 20 of my 20 day submission. As of rooster crow tomorrow, this Fast Track submission is late.
  6. My Modern FT was received on April 4, and it's only "Scheduled for Grading." I wonder why yours is stuck there? I would have thought a 4/4 receive date would have been shipped/safe already. Apparently, they told me mine was placed in the regular track box, but when I asked for compensation, they said there would be none because my invoice was still within the estimated TATs, which it is not. The current and estimated TATs listed are 10 days. Did they laugh at you too? Probably on the other side of the computer screen. That was a response to the e-mail I sent right before I decided to call instead. On the phone, the rep told me my subs were placed in the wrong box (which they had been for 12 business days), but the person who responded to my e-mail said mine was still within the estimated time frame. So they shipped out within 10 business days as it says on their website?

  9. The TMNT ship has sailed. If you want to play that game you'll have to come off the cash. TMNT will only go up. I think Walking Dead will have a painful correction at some point. It may have legs, but I'm starting to have my doubts.
  10. I love Walking Dead. I was an early adopter. My collection ran back to issue #1 of buying it off the stands. I've bought and read every issue since. All that being said, take a breath. #4 should scare the living mess out of you if you are concerned with long term growth. Spikes beget spikes in the inverse. As for "generations to come"....do you know a lot of people that want "Whiz Comics" right now? That comic was one of the original juggernauts, selling nearly 1.4 million copies PER ISSUE at its peak...and was GONE within a decade of those sales figures. That was our parents and grandparents generation. Do you see anyone outside of a few GA collectors who gave a hairy rat's about Whiz? If they did, and if current success was a guarantee of future quality, sales and popularity, Captain Marvel would be the biggest book going today. Books come, they go, no matter how popular or hot or great, tastes change, trends change, nothing lasts forever. Marketing, support, and fresh stories are integral to success. There's no guarantee WD will have any of those three for any guaranteed period of time. Have a little perspective. The voice of reason... This is the message board. Ain't nobody got time for that!
  11. I think it was your fault. All that alphabet stuff. What you see as my fault, I see as lack of moderation. So the line of acceptability is somewhere beyond the level of cleavage in your avatar, but somewhere this side of the skin shown on hula girl. Got it. I like the cut of your jib.
  12. You're blessed with one of the best LCS's in the country. Tell Darin that Dice says hi. (thumbs u
  13. Day 17. Still "Verified." Hell, I should have submitted it regular Economy. I might have gotten it back faster. How about saving the whining till your order is actually late? My modern FT were late, so suck it.
  14. In the comic, the Governor story line was by far the best. After that it seemed like a struggle to come up with something even remotely worth reading. Abraham was the only saving grace to the comic story. The TV series is about to have a hard time keeping the viewers starting with the next season, IMO.

  16. Rapidly becoming the pre-code grail. Bravo. That's pretty much it right there ! : cloud9: I believe this the same book and if it is, then it was ungraded at one time http://comics.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=807&lotNo=5517 There are multiple copies of each comic in the Gaines collection.
  17. They could put her in a garbage bag and I'd still drool.
