I've always seen Daryl as Tyreese. His relationship with Rick and Carol seems to somewhat line up with the comic. Plus having the gov kill him would be good tv. Killing the most popular character on the show would probably end in an eventual ratings disaster. If anything the show should do what the comic dared not and had Rick be killed at the end of the prison storyline. When I read the comic, Tyreese's death shocked me. He was a main character and Rick's right hand man. If they try to re-create that scene Darly is the logical choice. Or.............. they could use Andrea. I still think bad things from the Gov are heading her way. Either rape or cutting her head off in an attempt to get into the prison. Wasn't the Governor's main reason to get into the prison revenge? Right now, he has a perfect set up. Woodbury seems secure. No reason to really go after them unless he does get tortured. He will and it will be Michonne. That's possibly the most riveting moment in the entire series. No way they mess that up.

Hell, I might need therapy after this episode. I just want to lay in the fetal position and cry.

At the rate CGC is rubber stamping 9.8's on this book now, I'll be able to pick up a copy in a year or so for less than the cost of getting it slabbed.

Someone should run a test. Conceive a child on the way to the post office to mail their CGC submission. We could have a pool on which package would arrive first. The baby or the slabs.

I was always opposed to this idea Mike, but more and more it makes sense to me. Will it stop someone who's willing to make a bunch of posts or wait the required time? Perhaps not ,but it would allow us to get a cut of their jib and it would give them an opportunity to learn about this place and perhaps learn the rules and culture. Spot on. + 3. +4

There are only three issues. Issue 3 has the very first Wrightson cover on any publication. I have a sweet copy of #3. Now I just need to find a nice #1 and I'll have them all.

I stand correct then. I had my fiance hooked on it until that happened. She sobbed and said she couldn't read it any more and that's where she stopped.

Did you even watch tonight's episode? Yes after last week's episode this was a snooze fest. So, it needs more zombies? You have no concept of humanity. A line was crossed tonight. I thought it was pretty intense. Maybe if they'd had more zombies eating people.

That bundle of new comics must have been detoured through the CGC facility. It's just now arrived at the newsstand.

I can remember when you could buy them on eBay for $20-25 each all day. I had a nice stack of them but sold them all when the price took off and you could get $50-100 each. I never found one that was 9.8 worthy, though, and I didn't keep a copy for my collection.

Nice book. I have it in the Atlas Era Menace Vol. 1 Masterwork hardcover. A book that everyone should own. The best of Atlas pre-code horror. He said "manass."
