  1. If you ever want to let it go, please send me a PM.
  2. Nice Doug! Hadn't seen the Lilly! That right there is f'ing awesome.
  3. These grades are really harsh on the 12c DC books. Other posters say CGC is still really tight last few months. I'm so mad, because I have a bunch of 9.2-9.4-9.6 12c DC's that will be graded in the next week. I know from looking at these pictures I am going to end up with a bunch of 9.2 drek for books that deserve 9.4 etc .... I am so steamed....The same thing happened last October, they were tight. Why are they always so tight in October right after I get my books in the summer? Yep *** You are ignoring this user *** Toggle the display of this post
  4. Moderns are nearing 90 days now and still sitting dead on Graded with no movement.
  5. UPC copies of #1 are much less common than the regular cover. Out of the 20-40 or however many copies I have, I think I only have two with the UPC.
  6. I can't see what you're talking about in the blurry photo. Are you talking about the paper right under the staple starting to split but it's still hanging on?
  7. This was CGC's "Comic of the Day" for today. Not for any special reason. It's just the only one they graded today.
  8. It's not 80 days on Moderns. I'm on day 85 and it's still sitting there.
  9. No way in hell would I ever let someone touch that with ink. Never.
  10. Regular modern sub is on day 83 and still not shipped out.
  11. Given the prior 9.8's, this should have graded a 10 purely on principle.
  12. For those waiting the current time of 7+ months for Economy submissions, I thought it would be constructive for us to come up with a few things folks can do while they wait. I'll make the first contribution. You could walk from Los Angeles to New York City. If you walked a reasonable 3 miles per hour and 10 hours a day, you can make the trip in roughly 93 days. Given this data, you'll have time to talk from LA to NY, then back to LA and probably make it back to Denver on the trip back to NY. If you live in Denver, this could be extremely convenient as you'd get home around the time your submission got there.
  13. I'm pretty sure you didn't hear that from a CGC employee.
  14. You're in luck. They're about to announce the "Super Fast Track" service. For another $10 per book on top of the Fast Track fee, they'll grade your Fast Track books on time. It's a win/win.
  15. They've been stuck on books from June 14th for almost two weeks now. At this rate, yours might be graded by July 10th of next year.
  16. I'm waiting for the much-remored new service: Extreme Flash Tracked. I hear they are going to have a hologram of Steve Jobs to tell customers that the turnaround time is 9 days instead of 10. You know, that's a brilliant idea. They could just let the Fast Track books fall behind schedule, then offer the new service where you pay an extra $20 per book and you can get your books graded Fast Track, but on time. They have. Well, there you go.

  18. For some reason they've been stuck on June 14th since the middle of last week. Maybe everyone took a week or two off.
  19. Definitely. So I can set record high prices buying from you rather than from some random on ebay. I'll get a submission ready by the end of the week. (thumbs u
