OH wow, paid attention to your post! One of my parents also had rods put in years ago! She now gets around fine and is foreverly grateful! Although she's had Knee replaced since then and now needs a hip done lol she still says the knee was the hardest  but you have my thoughts and prayers ^^

But now you got me wanting to stop at every single sale lol:roflmao: problem is they seem to be at the very same houses (shrug) throughout the years? Is this normal?  @cabinboy @littledoom

The ratio is 80-90% miss 10-20% hits.. scoring is a numbers game. But if u go to every sale and cover all the bases within one weekend you can score. I know a guy who goes to about 4-5 garage sales a weekend. They might all be weak but out of the combined hundred plus comics they have together he might find a Marvel Spotlight 32 and it makes the drive worth it.

    How cheap was the press?

Typically not cheap. I’ve had this model twice before and not experienced this issue. I purchased it new “open box”. Maybe that was my mistake. Saving $35 but in the long haul not such a great deal. In the description the seller writes they “stand behind their product and are happy to assist if you experience an issue”. That wasn’t the case when I messaged them

  3. My press' temperature increases as time decreases. Sometimes the temperature also decreases. The temperature should be constant throughout the session. For this example a typical setting I use is 160 degrees at 5 mins (300 secs). Notice how the temps jump as the time changes. Sometimes it gets as high as 200 degrees! Has anyone experienced this issue and successfully resolved it?

Isn't that like a full set though?

I've seen people work a long time, seemingly, to get all 1st prints. Not bad for one fail swoop.

#1 is from 1982. I believe it to be a 2nd print. I've yet to check the printings for the rest. #11 is missing. I think the original owner deiced the series was so good he doubled up after the first handful of issues. Or he wanted a "reading copy" and a collectible copy lol.
