Half awake I referred a yard sale that popped up last minute to a dealer friend. Somebody got there before him and grabbed all the Spider-Man comics. Two people picked through the remaining box before him. The lady, who collected these as a teen, wanted $100 for the box that was left. So he just got the junk that was left behind

That's why 130point is so valuable when it comes to setting prices for sales
ebay Terapeak product research is the most accurate tool for finding out the actual best offer sold prices in the past 12 months. More than 130point. However the only fault is when multiple items in the same listing are sold. It gathers the mean price between all quantity in that listing which could vary if sold at diff prices. Still pretty precise

Umm... These reps are not graders. She has no business telling you anything about the book's grade.
Well the reps save face

9.4
ouch that's very generous to call a comic with such defects as near mint

Maybe they meant 8.8
1.8? A book with color breaking creases as such wouldn't grade above an 8.0 for me... don't two graders have to agree on a grade at CGC?

I long lost track of things. But it does seem like a bit of waste killing him off. No such thing as retirement in the Marvel universe.
I remember when it was a hot book during the Netflix show back in the 2010s! I found more after finding these in my neighbor's collection. Unread untouched closed store overstock! Idk how many copies but there’s quite a few

What was the price? 30 books, $30?
It was from a Spidey collection of 200+ books. I paid $180 for it. These are some of the highlights. Oh what's crazy is the seller mentioned about a helper to the Punisher.. what's his name he asked? I told him Microchip.. he said every hero should have one

I've now completely cleared out two of my bedrooms. Three more to go.
How many boxes of comics did you have when you first started this selling process?

Very cool (as usual) pick up!
The "blue Galactus" is blue in all the 1st prints (that I'm aware of). It's only in the 2nd print that he's colored regular (and the Comicfest reprint).
I checked and it’s a first printing. I’ve owned a couple before and sold them off years ago. Seems like a book to hold onto now

About $30-50 raw, though a 9.8 went for only $50 in November. So not entirely rare.
price doesn't have much to do with rarity as much as demand

Another wild purchase. What’s a good story without excitement? I bought this estate sale Spider-Man collection for $180. The seller then handed me a $20 bill for “a discount” before I left. After I pulled into a shopping center before my drive home and accidentally hit a parked car. Do’h! The Secret Wars 1 is the famed blue Galactus error variant! These are the highlights from full newsstand runs and sealed subscription copies that belonged to his brother.

I have one that I got for $2 at a yard sale. I don't think I can get more than $10-20 for it. It's an affordable GA one-shot
