On the first Sunday of this month my dealer friend invited two friends and I on his final visit to a sale where he was able to cherry pick a storage unit collection. The seller had close to 100 boxes and let us fill shortboxes for $60 each. So I filled up two shortboxes and a half for $150. These are some of the highlights

Do you know who the vendor was that was set up like as soon as you walked into the building, the main front doors, he was straight to the back. It was one guy at the booth.
The vendor with the slabs discounted off "make an offer" and had the first Mr Freeze slab?

I know we’re going in circles on this discussion, but the modern market is strong right now. It’s just not the same stuff that’s selling today that was selling two to three years ago.
the problem is when moderns spans decades now whereas some eras are over the course of a decade

I am not referring to the market as a whole, just the new release moderns. It is fun again to see new books pop a bit or a lot like 2021. I guess I should qualify that as well, as it seems to just be Marvel books popping. DCs are not getting any traction. Now is the time to sell new releases to buy old stuff IMHO.
new Joker Year One origin storyline, that's about it for DC

It's like 2021 all over again
the comic market as a whole is not like a few yrs ago. It's pretty soft overall. A hot in trend the Ultimates line isn't translating to others

Reminds me of the 2000s when Ultimate titles first issues were very sought after and then became dollar bin material in the years following. Just no demand except for Ultimate Spidey #1 2000

I hope this is more like the new 52 and Image (Saga, Nowhere Men, Thief of Thieves, etc) spike from 2012-2014 where books ran up due to the content/stories.

I only sold one biggish book at the Swap meet, and he bought it. But yeah, he does bring a ton of joy to the event lol. I told him I saw his old episode on tubi where he traveled to check out someone’s collection and buy stuff. He said there was more episodes coming out I believe.
What's the name of the show?

Does anyone has a Seduction of the Innocent 1 2-D Edition? Is it really limited to 100 copies?
Do you have a photo? I've never heard of this edition

Ultimate BP is already popping since before release. Reviews are not as good as the new USM reading-wise, though I'm sure the print #'s are also much lower.
Damn already selling for $25!

It was one sale visit for about 4 hours of digging. The seller purchased a storage unit and had close to 100 boxes. My dealer friend who first found the sale invited two others and I on his 4th and final trip there
