X-Men 4 is selling pretty well... I'm noticing more now than ever that ppl really enjoy Jim Lee's 1990 X-Men run and many of his back issues like Alpha Flight 51 are selling well... He's selling off monster sketches on ebay every single day and I think it somehow is driving demand for his key issues

X-Men 4 is selling red hot.. easy $20-25 book
-
I know many buyers including myself who bought up the Rebirth #1 issues hoping they would go up like all the New 52 #1's.... and I splurged on Spawn 298-301.. spending hundreds... I still like those issues 5-10 years from now.. but I would have rather been more tame on those Spawns

I've noticed some lateness over a few packages.. mainly late scan upload than deliveries

ASM 365 1st Spidey 2099
Avengers 257 1st Nebula
52 Week 11 1st Batwoman
Batman 358 1st Killer Croc
Detective Comics 583 1st Scarface
Justice League of America Annual 2 1st Vibe & Gypsy
Weird War Tales 93 1st Creature Commandos
New X-Men 115 1st Negasonic Teenage Warhead
New X-Men 128 1st Phantomex
all are $5-30 books .. really cheap stuff and have some potential

a lot of these books are already established modern keys versus unknown gamble books which I would call spec

Sensational She Hulk 1, 60
Action Comics 500 (Infinity Cover)

OK, do they realise good prices for the seller? Or are they bargains for the buyer? I have some runs of X-titles that I am still in the process of trying to put up FS, was going to chunk it up into 4-5 book lots and list them that way. But, if big runs are selling and selling well, I might just go big.
-slymGood prices for the seller if you take the time to list them right. classic sets like V for Vendetta 1-10 sold for $300.. and modern classic story lines are doing well.. primarily my comment was directed towards more recent runs from like within the past five years or so are selling well.. because readers want to catch up on those recent releases and they won't be in trade paperback form until the fall or so

12-2-17 Cold misty morning..It's really nice and rare to find early bronze X-Men at yard sales.. $2 each .. The sale was so early allowing me time for a moving sale later that afternoon.. where I picked up those copper Marvels for $17 all in. I also picked up low grade Brave and the Bold 54 & Detective 359 for $75 each at that in-house moving sale..

Full runs are selling well. this is the time to be listing and selling them.. readers are locked out and want to read.. ebay is the source.. even libraries are closed
-
I guess one of the worst situations is when a buyer makes a best offer that's considerably lower and then after it's accepted tells he won't be able to pay until two more weeks lolol

Yeah a press would help but there’s a lot of color breaking ticks and creases as well. They issued a full refund but I hated seeing them like that. Of course picking it up from the post office I knew there’d be issues as the books were just sliding every which way.
I usually include a note to securely sandwich the comic in between strong/sturdy cardboard... some sellers will put the comic in between boards but not secure/fasten them w tape.. leading to sickening impact crunches...

How did you get your PayPal fees back? Last time it happened, I lost both the processing and the payment fees.
The 30 cent processing fee is always lost when you make any transfer (refund or not). If you have a business account the 2.9% processing fee will likely be lost.. if you have a regular account those fees should come back to you if you send a refund... there were times when I did lose the 2.9% fee when I refunded via ebay... sucked

So I made a purchase and the guy contacted me an hour later and said he can’t send it because he left the area because of the Corona. He says he has tried to refund me but it wont let him and Ebay phone lines are closed. It shows he cancelled order and only gives me option of that I received refund. Credit Card hasn’t shown a refund after a week.
Anyone experience this? He says he wont be back for months but left other listings up.
Sometimes it takes 3-4 business days for refunded e-checks to clear.. so I'd just be patient for a few more days until emailing ebay

Would it be worthy to add someone to this list who sold a $20 book for $2 and had sellers remorse and canceled it? Seller states I took advantage of his ignorance and admitted it wasn’t unavailable or damaged. I’m not sure how people feel about this so I’m not naming names....yet.
Also hate when that happens.. Bought $4 Sandman 8 canceled.... seller said it was an error ....... ok I get it I paid steal of a deal prices but that's on the seller not me
Another instance I bought $5 non-comic item worth $40-50 cancelled, same seller I bought $50 non-comic item worth $100-200 also canceled.... hate that dude.. and he makes up bs reasoning for canceling my order...
-
hate it when buyers DO pay and then minutes later ask to cancel the transaction because it was an error .... goodbye PayPal .30 cent processing fee....

It's been more than 30 business days... you're in the clear.. the responsibly of the seller is finished.. transaction fully complete.. especially if you offer no returns... I would have asked for pics but it's antiquated now

One guy was doing a thesis paper or something on the Kirby Eternals arc in the Bronze thread - before the movie announcement. I read it with fascination over such a crappy title.
I grew up on 1980s comics so I saw the 70s DC and Marvel as such . Kirby's Eternals being one of the many problem titles or the time. It's jaded me against his better 60s stuff ever since.
2.5-3 years ago I passed on a stack of maybe 20-30 original owner Eternals 1 high grade copies for $6 each........ somehow in that moment I knew I should have attempted to buy the whole lot but it was hard to for such a meaningless book at the time
