I can't believe I have joined you on this quest for the holy grail G. I Joe 21 9.8. Good job at corrupting me. I also want the GI joe 1 special and a 155 9.8+. I have owned two GI joe 1 marvel CGC 9.8s W and would love to find a 9.9 oh yea baby. I just got another copy that looks great but will probably only grade out at 9.6. The search continues.

Joe #2 and #6 seem to be the toughest of the first 10 issues. I think its a myth that #2 is scarce though. Try finding a #9 or #10 in a 9.8.Thats scarce. Good luck. There was no second printing of #1 in regular comic book format.

A 9.6 just sold for around $350. Last month they were averaging just over $200. The bandwagon is growing. i just hope I find a 9.8 before anyone else does.

if you look at the book closely, its heavily pixelated and even the tiniest fleck of color break will show. Its obnoxious. Look at a copy under magnification and youll see what i mean.

I now own this book. Its the nicest 9.4 EVER. CGC would give it a 9.6 everyday of the week.

I did..both times they came back the same 9.6. The others were clear cut 9.6s.

Youre preaching to the choir dude. Ive own 6 9.6s and two of them should have been 9.8s. They just refuse to give one that grade.

Hate to be the party pooper again, but ol Sabretooth is only a 4 out of 7 on the marvel universe strength scale. So in other words...pretty weak compared to a lot of others. UMMM NO. Last I checked Sabretooth beat the [embarrassing lack of self control] out of Wolverine on several different occasions.
