  1. If the venom book is green lighted for this thread, and is an error book, then why wouldn't the Deathlok? It's an error book, as well. One copy or not, it's in the same error category, and there's only one thus far. Just my
  2. Just channeling my inner RMA. I believe his original point of thread was numbers, not popularity. The no UPC venom, hulk 393 error, and the deathlok i posted qualify based on numbers alone. And I understand why some wouldn't want errors included, because they were not intended to exist. Don't get me wrong, the Venom is a killer book. I want one, myself. My only question was, is this as rare as people think if there are 82 graded copies? Maybe. Regardless, keep posting them. They are cool to look at.
  3. I know I'll catch hell for this, but I just have to say that with 82 graded copies of this book, I'm thinking it really doesn't belong in the "rarest book of the 90's" thread. I love this book, and I'm not hatin'. Now the white copy... Completely different story.
  4. So what's the error? No foil? This is what the book looks like. Prism foil, baby!
  5. Here's my contribution to the error book. One of a kind (thus far.) courtesy of Mr. Green.
  6. Lots of warlord action going on lately. I'm hoping another one of the Remco ones surfaces. I'm sure there's more than a few looking for it, now.
  7. I just looked at the photo ... two spine ticks, one bad corner (bottom left), off center (may be a produciton issue though) and spotting (which I can't tell if is on the book, the scanner or what), but it is not a 9.8 and it sure as is not a 10. CGC IT!
  8. Took me long enough, but finally found the 3rd print.
  9. This one, too. 2nd print of #2, with the cover of #4? I wonder what the story behind this is? Quality control was not Blackthornes top priority.
  10. I mentioned this in an earlier post. It should qualify for this thread.
  11. You dont see it alot, but there are usually a few copies on ebay. Personally I have only found one copy out in the wild. The zombie cover helps it too as well as it being a last issue and the print run was down for it. Yeah, I see them for sale often, but they usually fetch a good price.
  12. RMA has spoken and he shook his head no! Begone pest! Rma has spoken? Seriously? I'm going to assume you're kidding. Regardless, the proper question should have been whether or not they printed more of the supergirl than the hulk? Sorry, I don't speak smily face.
  13. Thanks, all. Took me a little while, but I found one. The only bad thing is that there's a small stain on the back that would probably bring it down to a VF+. Otherwise, solid NM. This issue belongs in the hardest books of the 80's thread. I can't imagine they made many.
  14. Finally got this one recently. Scratch by upper staple is on the case.
  15. Found these for 40 cents each. Not the biggest score of all time, but not a bad day.
  16. Supergirl #1 (1996) ?? The very same. Is the print run of this similar to Hulk 377 (3rd print?)
  17. Dear Diary, JACKPOT! Nice score. Man... Everyone seems to find these expensive books in dollar/quarter bins. I'm like Charlie Brown when I go hunting... "I got a rock."
  18. That is cool. Never seen that one before. I have family members in Quebec, so I'll have to find that one on my next visit!
