  1. There is a trick you can try that might work at that stage: Take your invoice number and go to the CGC main page and go to Verify CGC Certification then add 000 for book one, add 001, 002, 003 ect for subsequent books. You might be able to pull up grades that way.. I did it one long ago
  2. http://www.smodcast.com/channel/smodcast?audio=397 It was announced last night on his podcast which you can listen to above. Made it to 96 episodes

  4. https://www.newsarama.com/40136-gem-closing-donating-collection-to-library-of-congress.html Diamond Comic Distributors President and Chief Executive Officer Stephen A. Geppi has made a multimillion dollar donation of more than 3,000 items from his personal comic book and pop culture collection to The Library of Congress. Geppi’s gift encompasses comic books, photos, posters, original comic book and comic strip art, newspapers, pinback buttons, and other rare, vintage pop culture artifacts including the original Plane Crazy storyboards that document the creation of Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse. Items are expected to go on display at the Library of Congress beginning this summer. The move represents a huge next chapter in one of Geppi’s long-held dreams. For more than a decade, the material has been on display at Geppi’s Entertainment Museum (GEM) in Baltimore and includes Big Little Books, Beatles memorabilia, a collection of flicker rings popularizing comic book characters and political figures such as Martin Luther King, Jr., R.F. Outcault’s The Yellow Kid printing blocks, and the No. 2 Brownie camera model F from Eastman Kodak Company. With the acquisition of these items by the Library of Congress, GEM will close its doors in June. Its last day open to the public will be Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 10am to 6pm. Admission that day will be free of charge. When Geppi’s Entertainment Museum opened in 2006, it was the natural next step in Geppi’s lifelong passion to share comic books and popular culture in general with the widest possible audience. “I’ve been an evangelist for comics since I picked up my first issue of Batman at the age of five. Since then, I couldn’t help but share my excitement, first with my brother, then my family, and then my friends. I remember thinking ‘This stuff is great! I can’t wait to share it with so-and-so.’ After that, each step along the way has really preceded from those initial impulses,” Geppi said. In GEM, Geppi achieved a previously unparalleled execution of his vision, but after more than a decade in its historic Camden Yards facility, it was apparent to him that to reach even more people with his message, he was going to need to go bigger. This led to a meeting with Librarian of Congress, Carla Hayden, who Geppi knew from her time heading up the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore. From there, things moved relatively quickly. “The Library of Congress is home to the nation’s largest collection of comic books, cartoon art and related ephemera and we celebrate this generous donation to the American people that greatly enhances our existing holdings,” said Hayden. “The appeal of comic books is universal, and we are thrilled that this new addition to the collections will make them even more accessible to people worldwide.” The Library holds more than 140,000 issues of approximately 13,000 comic book titles, dating back to the 1930s. The collection includes many firsts and some of the most important comics in history, including the first comic book sold on newsstands, the first comics featuring Batman and other iconic characters, such as All Star Comics #8, the first appearance of Wonder Woman. The Library also holds a copy of Amazing Fantasy #15, the origin and first appearance of Spider-Man, along with the original artwork that Steve Ditko created for the issue. According to The Library, The Geppi Collection expands and enriches this strong foundation and fills gaps in specific issues. “I’ve been blessed to make my living from something I love for decades, and further blessed to be able to share these treasures with others. The idea of how many more people will get to see this material under the auspices of The Library of Congress invigorates my mind with a multitude of possibilities. I definitely have other plans for the future as well. Besides, it’s not like I’m going to stop collecting,” said Geppi.

  7. https://www.cbr.com/rick-moranis-dark-helmet-the-goldbergs/ The Goldbergs has landed an iconic guest for its latest ’80s pop culture reference with the announcement that Rick Moranis will be on the May 9 episode. Moranis, who had semi-retired from acting in 1997 to spend more time with his family, will be reprising his memorable villain, Dark Helmet, from Mel Brooks’ 1987 Star Wars parody Spaceballs. According to USAToday, Moranis will be voicing the character in one of Adam Goldberg’s (Sean Giambrone) dreams. According to the episode’s synopsis, Adam “encounters Dark Helmet storming his bedroom to battle with the Schwarts,” which is an homage to Star Wars‘ the Force. In the course of the episode, Adam “promises to get a sequel to Spaceballs produced before waking up.” The Goldbergs creator Adam F. Goldberg is a longtime fan of Moranis and Brooks, and went to great lengths to bring Moranis on board. “I truly think Rick Moranis gave the most underrated and brilliant comedic performance in any ‘80s movie as Dark Helmet,” Goldberg said in a statement. “I’ve been a lifelong fan of his work and became obsessed with having him reprise the role on my show. As an added bonus, maybe this even gets Spaceballs back in the conversation, and I can get my dream of helping make a sequel!” The episode will air on ABC on Wednesday, May 9 at 8 pm ET/PT.
  8. I dont think the gauntlet can create matter just work with the existing matter in the universe. Maybe that's why he has to kill half the universe
  9. My thought is the time stone messed With Thanos perception of time. That way the Scarlet Witch Can can get off a shot with her reality warping powers and make Thanos think he got a snap off. In reality they all are fine and Thanos exists in a reality where he thinks he accomplishes what he tried to do. PT2 is when he realizes he was tricked
  10. I thought he had a dust up with CGC last year due to someone getting sigs with CGC last your who didn't pay up. He went to CGC for help and CGC would not assist. Its possible this new issue build off from there
  11. https://www.newsarama.com/38699-marvel-getting-a-fresh-start-in-may-2018-in-line-wide-change.html Marvel Comics' superhero hero titles are getting "A Fresh Start" come May 2018, with "new series, new creative teams, new directions, new beginnings." Take a look at the announcement video: The Jim Cheung pin-up features Marvel Comics' primary superheroes, as well as some somewhat-surprises in the appearance of Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider and the notable absence of Iron Heart. https://www.newsarama.com/38715-does-an-avengers-relaunch-mean-no-700.html Now that Marvel is relaunching Avengers with a new #1 this May, it seems one of the biggest milestones foretold by the onset of the publisher's "Legacy" relaunch may go uncelebrated, as the current volume of Avengers will end with April's #690 - just ten issues shy of a milestone Avengers #700. Other titles such as Captain America, Iron Man, and Daredevil celebrated milestone issues as part of "Legacy," though some like Incredible Hulk and Doctor Strange missed what would have been major milestones in their titles. Avengers isn't the only title going back to a new #1 in May either. Venom (another title that was renumbered with "Legacy" numbering starting with #150) was also announced to be relaunching in May, with IGN paraphrasing Marvel executive editor Tom Brevoort as saying that Marvel has more relaunches to come - with the "Legacy" numbering going away almost entirely as part of their 2018 "Fresh Start" initiative. According to IGN, Brevoort also said that the "Legacy" numbering could stay around on some titles in "subordinate fashion," presumably meaning as a second number displayed below the number of the current volume - though, in IGN's words, Brevoort "favors keeping things as clear and unconfusing as possible for readers."

  16. https://www.cbr.com/legends-of-tomorrow-keiynan-lonsdale-series-regular/ Legends of Tomorrow Adds Kid Flash As Series Regular Kid Flash, aka Wally West, is officially a full-fledged member of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The Flash star Keiynan Lonsdale will join Legends as a series regular starting in episode 13. “We loved working with Keiynan in our series premiere — the episode in which we learned that in between seasons 2 and 3 he had been fighting crime in Central City with Nick Zano’s Nate Heywood. So when his character stepped away from Flash to go on walkabout, after being dumped and feeling somewhat estranged from his family and team, we knew that Wally West would fit in perfectly on Legends,” executive producer Phil Klemmer told Entertainment Weekly. “After all, our show is about a collection of unlikely heroes who all began their journeys questioning who they are and where they belong — only to find those answers while traveling through time and having wacky adventures,” he continued. “So now, Wally West is not only back in the company of old friends from the Arrowverse, he’s fighting alongside a former enemy and career arsonist Mick Rory [Dominic Purcell]. By the end of this season, Wally will learn that the Legends have a different definition of what it means to be a hero. Rumors that Kid Flash would join Legends have circled ever since Martin Stein was killed in action and Jefferson “Jax” Jackson decided to step down from the team. Lonsdale’s Kid Flash appeared briefly in the Season 3 premiere, where he came to Citizen Steel’s aid to stop a petty crime. The Legend, stranded in 2017 after Rip Hunter’s Time Bureau disbanded his team, had turned to crimefighting in Central City and got a little more help than he bargained for when Wally swooped in and stole his thunder by making short work of his opponents. On The Flash, Wally has been largely absent. He left the team and Central City for Blue Valley in order to focus on himself. He returned for Barry and Iris’ wedding, but only stuck around long enough to keep guard of his father and sister when Nazis from Earth-X invaded, appearing only in Supergirl‘s chapter of the crossover. The character was shelved from the show due to the financial strain of having two speedsters, though “more exciting” stuff was teased for his future.
