  1. back page, lower left corner. Looks like a crease that was there during printing, but not sure....
  2. Yeah.... I really need to look at things like this....
  3. Yes, I don't; think clean and press significantly improve this to overcome the issues it has. I may just slab & keep.... unless value increases to a point sentiment goes out the window....
  4. That's what's so surprising. I have other comics I bought around the same time that I actually read that grade 8 and in the 9s.... Oh well, they were comics well lived....
  5. Yeah.... This & 8 were comics I bought as a kid. Didn't even read them because the story didn't grab me. A friend just said I needed to.... 75 cents, wth.... As much as I can recall, they were always bagged.... maybe no boards back then.... I was a poor kid...
  6. That certainly wouldn't hurt. The more I look at it, the rougher it appears.
  7. Thanks. Well, they hammered my Luke Cage #1, but folks here seemed to think it was on the mark. Others I've been ok with the grades or at least understood the rationale.
  8. Thanks. Yes, not in as great a shape as I thought.
  9. Thanks. Yes. I think so. It looked better bagged.... No biggie. I may just keep it. Unloading the rest except Stiltman and Bullseye cover issues.... For me as a kid, they were completely believable villains....
  10. My original plan was to slab & keep, but now thinking maybe sell, slab or unslabbed not sure. Originally thought maybe a 5, but looking at the pictures, not so sure it even gets there.
  11. Thanks. I'm not sure I'd want a Universal label if it the signature is considered a defect....
  12. From what I understand, COA is irrelevant to CGC when grading a comic and it is considered altered. My question is, does CGC determine blue or green label and the individual submitting does not control that?
  13. I've seen this on ebay.... Something to do with how many a store gets?
  14. Doing the story and interior are makes this really a must.
  15. Thanks. I figured it was something like that.
