Hopefully the experts will weigh in.... I have a comics graded 9.8, 9.6 and one 9.4.... I'm not sure I could spot the difference...

Thanks. Edited and added a scanned image. The mark on the white space by his thumb is not on the comic, It is a mark on the glass.... I did notice what appears to be some slight smudging by the upc. I don't know if that can be cleaned?

That's a great deal.... Yeah under 4 bucks for me on Vol II.... Vol I is a great get.... again, I'm kicking myself.... Not sure I'll flip it either but right now bidding on an auction for Vol I is over 32 bucks with 4 hours left so you certainly could.... Went to my LCS and checked and he's putting them together in complete sets to sell so not in his discount bin....

Buy in volume and save! Under a buck each.... I love the old horror comics. These are 1990ish reprints, still very cool find.... all in excellent condition....

Dollar Bin Find.... Kind of kicking my self.... I've been in this thrift/antique store before and they had Batman vs Predator Vol 1 and went right past them thinking "C'mon. How much can these be worth?....".... Went home (phone was out of juice) Checked Ebay.... Went back and they were gone.... Found these and grabbed them....

Yes, I have a couple Alien comics that have the "newstand" upc and seem to be the more desirable one on Ebay.... Thanks for the info!

I didn't quite get the drama.... There's far more sexualized covers of female superheros out there. The whole thing seemed more about the guy's past work than this cover....

Thanks for the info on barcodes..... I knew I had purchased both at the store... While I tend to like a cover with no barcode, a lot of the Marvel comics I've seen without the barcode still have the white space there with Spider-Man there so it's a bit of wash between the two for me.... I was thinking if I submitted, I would definitely go with the press.

I don't envision me getting rid of it as it's the only copy I have...Overall, seems pretty straight. Is there any significance to some having a barcode and some not?

More less that a dollar additions.... The top row are all first print. Aliens on the left, bottom is first print newstand. Not sure what the Aliens 3 are.... newstand, direct.... No barcode

Thrift/Antique store had a comic section with a buy more save more kind of deal.... Ended picking up a bunch of comics for less than a dollar each.... This is a few of them. Daredevil and Captain America were mainly because of the cover artwork. Spider-Woman I'll definitely read at some point. These seem to be something that ran along side a TV show or DVD series which ended around #7 I think. Artwork inside is kind of meh.... The Harleys I thought were cool.... I always like this Harley as opposed to the Suicide Squad movie version though it's hard to argue the sex appeal of the newer version....

Such a premium placed on the holy grail 9.8 when the reality is it's a 0 to 10 grading scale and that's a 2 tenths difference. I get the value difference may be big but on a grading scale, it's small. I'm not sure I would ever crack a 9.8....

I like it. I bought the Dollar Comics reprint because I like the cover. Going to frame it.... Don't expect any kind of return on my 3.99....
