Kudos to SurfingAlien for some sweet condition copies of some Charlton War books.....some paratrooper ones included, check my thread.

Time to start posting some recent arrivals. This one was purchased last week from my LCS. I wonder if Paratrooper has seen this one? Trooper cover AND story inside:
Yup, I identified that as a want in my collection.....would happen to be selling that issue.....
-
A few years back there was a seller who repeatedly listed higher grade copies of Trapped! on ebay for something like $5. They rarely topped the starting bid.
Nice article by Paul Howley on the find for "Trapped."
Excellent story! I bought my copy about a year ago on ebay for about $15. Haven't seen one since, maybe they'll pop up again at a later date. Maybe I'll crack the slab and read it again.

Speaking of a Library of scans....is there a program out there that tracks your comic collection and allows you to add scans of your books? This has probably already been discussed before...
-
I slabatized the book, no idea who the creative artists were on this book. And no idea what the book is about (bought it a few years ago, read it and slabbed it). Anyone else see this book before? It was mentioned in SOTI, never seen another one of these up for sale, just wondering how rare this book is. OPSG has it as $12 in NM, so can't be that rare.

More kudos to ckb for some Paratrooper books I never expected to see! Fantastic seller & Forumite.

Mine?
Action Comics #2
All-Select #1
Captain America Comics #32
Bang Up Comics #1
Marvel Mystery Comics #14
Since I aquired the All-Select #1 I'll update my grail wantlist:
Action #2
Action #43
Captain America #32
Bang Up #1
Marvel Mystery #14
I think the next realistic goal (price & availability) would be the Cap #32. So if anyone has it..........

Kudos to Surfer for selling me my first Grail! All-Select Comics #1.....now on to the next grail of mine.
And Kudos to Arex for fast secure shipping of the book.

I have a GL #16 in 4.0 range (PGX) that I'd be willing to trade for a GA Paratrooper book.
-
I already posted this in the PGM thread, but I believe this 10center thread needs more war books....and I know this is a GA book, but it still costs 10cents.....
That is really wild. I did a total doubletake when I saw this, because it looks like late 70s/early 80s Kirby.
The colors on this book are also almost psychodelic (SP?) which makes one think that it was a '70s Kirby. I paid 3x guide for this and will never regret it.....OSPG is way off their pricing on this book, for I think this is a scarce issue or even rare....How many here have seen this book, ever.

As promised:

Read the word bubbles, classic military cadence for the day

I actually sold that copy in the scan to a forum member due to the fact I shelled out major $$$$ for a high grade copy of that book. I'll get around to scanning that better copy if you want to see that cover without creases.

Huge Kudo's to sterlingcomics for fantastic shipping speed and even better packaging! 3 Great books at a good price and very accurate grading.

My favorite cover of all Time:

Cap #1 (I buy what I like and WWII era Cap can't be beat storyline and historical significance wins me over)
Superman #1 (Frankenbook or not, how often do you see a Supes #1 up for sale that's not completely trashed?)
Suspense #3 (never cared for wonder woman)
KUDOS THREAD - positive feedback on buyers/sellers

Just checked, it was for the Atom-Age Combat #1....and it better be a paratrooper cover......or paratrooping kegs of beer (comicdey will get that one)
