Oh, and thanks for the info BLB. I've always enjoyed reading Ellison. When I had the chance to own his first published work (though minor) I jumped at it.

I made a post used the word D E M O C R A T which is an issue in Overstreet and indeed a title to a Platinum comic but when I hit the continue button the word is replaced by (embarrassing lack of self control) what is going on?
-
Has anyone seen a Platinum "Evolution of A [embarrassing lack of self control]" ? It's listed in Overstreet, I would love to see a pic of this if anyone here has one.

Just got my hands on Real Fact Comics #6 FN copy for $200. Trying to find out where Harlan Ellison scripting appears in the comic, can't find his name anywhere. This issue is supposed to be his 1st published letter/work or something. Anyone know?
-
Did anyone mention Showcase #3, the Frogmen cover? I know it's silver age.

29 and afraid to turn 30. Is it a trend at a certain age to do away with the newer comics and find interest in the classics? Ever since I turned 25 and got a good job I've been buying tons of Golden age books and selling my moderns in which I have no interest in anymore. Strange.
-
How does Overstreet determine what is a classic cover and what is not? I am confused on that part. There are some golden age books with covers that are, in my opinion, much more awe inspiring that that Yellowjacket but not classified as having a "classic cover". I think that was a run on sentence.

I have over 1,100 feedbacks 100% positive.
I am in the military and tired of moving my thousands of books every time the army moves me. So now I am selling my collection, with the exception of a few choice books.

No, thank you Marc. Great books at great prices. Slowly my run will be complete in a decade or so, once I am able to afford Action #2.....
