I'm wondering if anyone else is confused about the new eBay payout policy and why they removed PayPal from that end of it. (If there's another thread talking about that, any direction would be appreciated!)

I almost entirely use the mobile app and I can't tell if the process to transfer your sales into your bank account is automatic... or does it sit as available balance like PayPal?

I hadn't sold in years and I just started selling again about 3 weeks ago, and I was confused too. But so far it's been ok - I've done about $1,900 in sales, and they just transfer payment to your bank. I have mine set up for daily transfer. The first couple of sales they held it for a bit - probably because I hadn't sold in so long, but now it's regular. I was a little trepidatious at first but it's been really smooth, and even the process of printing shipping labels is easier too, and they just take the cost out of your payout, which makes it easier in my opinion.

I get that, but I would be furious with myself if I paid $2,500 for a 9.8 Blue Label on the same day a SS 9.8 was BIN for $2,100.

Personally I'd rather have a blue label, especially on a key book that I want. I do like the sig series sometimes, but generally only if it has a remarque, and/or if it's an artist I like but it's not on a key issue. Maybe I'm in the minority though...

  3. It stopped happening a few minutes after I posted. The php issues, that is. I can't confirm the other issues on the boards have stopped, although there haven't been as many "I think my cgc slab is tampered with because my 8.0 Batman #521 has a weird smell to it" posts lately.

  5. I've been picking up a lot of books lately, and my organizational skills are lacking - I need to go through and reorganize everything, and it got me thinking about the best way to do it. I'm thinking maybe creating a box of books I plan to sell/trade/etc., a box or two of only key or high-value books across titles and then the rest in boxes alphabetized by title.

Just got me curious to see how others prefer to organize their raw books.

I like that Rob Zombie Bigfoot 1!

It's pretty cool! I knew nothing about it, but it looked interesting for a buck. The seller was super cool, he was just trying to move stuff I guess - I took all the books up to him and he was like, "how about a $20 bill?" I think all together they were like $28 according to what he had marked and the dollar bin stuff. Sure, $20 sounds fine! xD

  7. Hoping for some help/info here - I hit an antique fair today, and I like to grab odd and obscure books that I find, especially in the $1 boxes, because some of this stuff is pretty cool. I found a copy of a book called "Daffy Qaddafi - Malice in Wonderland." The premise made me laugh so I bought it.

There are a few on eBay and I've seen it on other sites like MyComicShop, but every single one I see has a full-color cover, and my copy has a black and white (or really, black, blue and white) cover. Anyone have any ideas on if this is some kind of subsequent printing or something?
