Are the boards acting up for anyone else tonight, or is it just me? It's driving me nuts, I keep getting php errors. Wanted to see if it's an issue on my end or board-wide...

Love the Mighty Mouse cover, Demon Days 1, and Joker 3 card cover.

I had to have the Mighty Mouse when I saw it - I was at a small shop and it wasn't priced, and the owner said, "I dunno, looks like about $3 to me." Sold!

I've been picking up a lot of books lately, and my organizational skills are lacking - I need to go through and reorganize everything, and it got me thinking about the best way to do it. I'm thinking maybe creating a box of books I plan to sell/trade/etc., a box or two of only key or high-value books across titles and then the rest in boxes alphabetized by title.
Just got me curious to see how others prefer to organize their raw books.

My disappointment is in myself cruising eBay after a few bourbons and putting in best offers on slabs that I assume won't get accepted, then waking up and finding out I owe someone money and I lacked the discipline to stick to my collecting goals... Luckily it doesn't happen often, but it has happened!

I like that Rob Zombie Bigfoot 1!
It's pretty cool! I knew nothing about it, but it looked interesting for a buck. The seller was super cool, he was just trying to move stuff I guess - I took all the books up to him and he was like, "how about a $20 bill?" I think all together they were like $28 according to what he had marked and the dollar bin stuff. Sure, $20 sounds fine!

Big antique fair in town today, bought some random stuff. Slim pickings for comics - the fair is gigantic but I only found three booths that had any comics at all, and only one of those actually had long boxes, the rest just had comics sitting in with other stuff. Only dropped $20, but didn't really need any of these... But the Batman and X-men are pretty nice. It was just fun to be at a big fair like that again finding random books in the wild.

Hoping for some help/info here - I hit an antique fair today, and I like to grab odd and obscure books that I find, especially in the $1 boxes, because some of this stuff is pretty cool. I found a copy of a book called "Daffy Qaddafi - Malice in Wonderland." The premise made me laugh so I bought it.
There are a few on eBay and I've seen it on other sites like MyComicShop, but every single one I see has a full-color cover, and my copy has a black and white (or really, black, blue and white) cover. Anyone have any ideas on if this is some kind of subsequent printing or something?

Got this in a random lot for less than $1 - unfortunately there are spine issues and also some weird indentations on the back cover (funny enough, they almost look like cat teeth marks). Too bad because the rest of the books in the lot were a nice grade, but I just love this cover so I'll keep it around.

I like to pick up small, super-cheap random lots when they have a couple of books that look interesting. My criteria is that they have to be small lots and my cost has to come out to less than $1 a book (unless it's a lot that includes really specific keys or something for example, then I'm more flexible).
Here are some of the more interesting/fun/intriguing ones (in my opinion) from my last couple of buys, all under $1 a book:
The Groo issue is a Mark Jewelers.

I'm currently selling a bunch of my old video games that have just been sitting in storage. The video game market is just as crazy as comics right now - I take good care of my stuff, so they basically all have boxes and every single insert that came with the game. Sold a Game Boy Advance game complete in box for $175 last night, and I have two sealed games listed at $300 each, and I'm on the low end of the BIN and sold offerings for those games on eBay. I have a bunch of stuff listed, and I've sold through $500 in the last week or so.
My plan is to sell enough in the next few weeks to be able to buy one big book (big to me anyway) or a couple of kind of big books - trying to narrow down my wish list now, but some contenders include Batman 251, Batman 232 or a low-grade entry level ASM 129...

Not to belabor the point of all this, but a 2.5 just sold for $70 more than I paid for my copy (which is only an 8.5) less than 8 months ago... crazy.
2.5 OW/W sold at a BIN of $449.99 - https://www.ebay.com/itm/154438894486?hash=item23f5468396%3Ag%3AzDAAAOSwyHtgkJT3&nma=true&si=5kHO1Z3AZPPhvThBhVsbjR6dF9s%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
Wow, and I just saw a 2.0 OW/W went for $455 after 18 bids - https://www.ebay.com/itm/174751958555?hash=item28b007461b%3Ag%3AQNIAAOSwC8lgjBY-&nma=true&si=5kHO1Z3AZPPhvThBhVsbjR6dF9s%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Love this! Captain Carrot remains one of my all-time favorites, and I wish they'd do a proper action figure! Sweet book! I have a raw copy, should really pick up a graded one too...
