  2. I've been picking up a lot of books lately, and my organizational skills are lacking - I need to go through and reorganize everything, and it got me thinking about the best way to do it. I'm thinking maybe creating a box of books I plan to sell/trade/etc., a box or two of only key or high-value books across titles and then the rest in boxes alphabetized by title.

Just got me curious to see how others prefer to organize their raw books.

I like that Rob Zombie Bigfoot 1!

It's pretty cool! I knew nothing about it, but it looked interesting for a buck. The seller was super cool, he was just trying to move stuff I guess - I took all the books up to him and he was like, "how about a $20 bill?" I think all together they were like $28 according to what he had marked and the dollar bin stuff. Sure, $20 sounds fine! xD

  4. Hoping for some help/info here - I hit an antique fair today, and I like to grab odd and obscure books that I find, especially in the $1 boxes, because some of this stuff is pretty cool. I found a copy of a book called "Daffy Qaddafi - Malice in Wonderland." The premise made me laugh so I bought it.

There are a few on eBay and I've seen it on other sites like MyComicShop, but every single one I see has a full-color cover, and my copy has a black and white (or really, black, blue and white) cover. Anyone have any ideas on if this is some kind of subsequent printing or something?

  5. I'm currently selling a bunch of my old video games that have just been sitting in storage. The video game market is just as crazy as comics right now - I take good care of my stuff, so they basically all have boxes and every single insert that came with the game. Sold a Game Boy Advance game complete in box for $175 last night, and I have two sealed games listed at $300 each, and I'm on the low end of the BIN and sold offerings for those games on eBay. I have a bunch of stuff listed, and I've sold through $500 in the last week or so.

My plan is to sell enough in the next few weeks to be able to buy one big book (big to me anyway) or a couple of kind of big books - trying to narrow down my wish list now, but some contenders include Batman 251, Batman 232 or a low-grade entry level ASM 129...

  6. Not to belabor the point of all this, but a 2.5 just sold for $70 more than I paid for my copy (which is only an 8.5) less than 8 months ago... crazy.

    2.5 OW/W sold at a BIN of $449.99 - https://www.ebay.com/itm/154438894486?hash=item23f5468396%3Ag%3AzDAAAOSwyHtgkJT3&nma=true&si=5kHO1Z3AZPPhvThBhVsbjR6dF9s%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

    Wow, and I just saw a 2.0 OW/W went for $455 after 18 bids - https://www.ebay.com/itm/174751958555?hash=item28b007461b%3Ag%3AQNIAAOSwC8lgjBY-&nma=true&si=5kHO1Z3AZPPhvThBhVsbjR6dF9s%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
