I am always happy to support sellers who do a great job meeting or exceeding my expectations so I typically post up the contents of the mystery boxes I get from Jason when I get them. I don't think it's fair to voice my like for his past sales threads to not post what I got. In almost all cases he has met or exceeded the FMV of $150 or whatever I spent in my opinion. I do notice not a lot of people post the contents of their boxes and I assumed they wanted to keep it secret for flipping purposes but maybe people were not getting their value from them. I don't like getting far less then I expected but I'm more concerned Jason isn't returning PMs or defending himself in the PM thread or on here. I'm hoping he is just swamped processing the new collections and nothing worse.

I am one of the PM group and although this round of mystery boxes is not Probation List worthy it appears several if not most of the people involved have contact Jason about the quality of the mystery boxes. I have contact Jason about my box and we will hopefully work something out because I am not pleased.

Not sure why they added that. Maybe some folks took it as a heads-up that the seller and buyer might not be coming to terms for whatever reason, and thought they could get next in line. Missed that. I guess I can understand the confusion or at least wanting to be first in line if a pending deal fell thru.

I simply can not believe not one but 4 people would PM a seller and request he sells a book to them if the buyer backs out. I don't have access to all 4 PMs but I can't imagine all four of them did not insinuate or ask the seller to sell the book at a higher price to them. It was a great price for a low grade Daredevil 1 but come on - FOUR people thought it was worth a PM offer when we all know DCMan is a person who buys the books he takes. I don't get shocked often on the boards but that was crazy.

The trailer annoyed me for some reason but it may grow on me if I watch it again. I loved the Superman / Batman trailer but this one just seemed to be nails on chalkboard to me.

Yikes - I submitted 20 books at Heroes three weeks ago via Modern Fast Track and they are still sitting at Verified. I got an e-mail on May 22nd saying they arrived in Florida. I was hoping to have them bumped to scheduled for grading when I got back from my vacation today but no luck. I thought the rule of thumb was a month from verified to getting the books shipped. I did give them a call a few minutes ago since its my first submittal and I wanted to check to see if I was reading everything correctly. Sound like they are swamped with the Cons and just the shear number of books that are getting submitted.

Motor City had a couple buy 2 for a $1 booths and I think I saw a 3 for $1 booth. That's a ton of volume to pay back the booth fee but it must work for them. I avoid these booths like the plague since they are all 90s drek. There is a $2 per book booth that frequents cons in my area that actually has some nice books so I stop there every time but its a ton of work to pull a decent book.

Swamp Thing 37 sure seems to have taken a hit with the cancellation. I love the book but the price needs to take a large correction before I buy it again.
