  1. Yep definitely a married copy with the original interior being swiped out and replaced with another coverless copy. Excellent detective work!
  2. I typically under grade, but this round I over graded by a whole point with 4/5 of the books
  3. That was a steal of a price indeed!! Had I not have my very own 6.5 copy I would've bought this in a heartbeat!!
  4. Chris is my buddy's name. Could be co-owner?
  5. I was honored and lucky to have met Kevin Conroy at a local comic convention show several years ago thanks to my buddy who owns the company Celebworx. They bring in special guest appearances from TV, animation, movies, voice actors etc. to conventions in the nation. One of their clients was Kevin Conroy who happened to be at the show. I think it was the Stan Lee LA convention in downtown LA. I managed to get my Batman:Animated Series master DVD set signed by him and Lorin Lester (voice of Robin). It was one of the best days for me in a comic convention.
  6. But are these real world prices though or just pumpers/speculators trying to pump the price up so they can maximize profits to sell? It's like a one last hoorah before a major dump. It's all textbook now to predict.
  7. I wouldn't pay that much either for a 9.8 copy. Just not a book I am not interested in within those price levels. And no on fractional comic book ownership. It's a silly idea and if you were to invest in something tangible like a comic book, you would want to own it in your own hands and not have to buy shares for someone else holding it for you.
  8. Went for about the price I expected. The C-1 slight resto likely unreversible unless heavy paper loss damage will be done
  9. Went low because the Halloween season is over. Also, its not a very strong 4.5 copy. I usually see a rise in value for PCH books a month or so before Halloween season starts.
  10. Book sold earlier this year for $363,528. Curious to see how much it would sell for this 2nd time around
  11. Witches Tales #25, classic decapitation zombie cover. I love how the head is attached to the bell ringing and the whole mystery surrounding what happens after 8:30 pm. Just eerie and creepy
  12. That's the same Superman #1 copy they had listed earlier this year that sold for $720k . Talk about a huge loss for the consignor
  13. Yup!!! This is why I had to post them all because I really don't know
  14. A mini group shot of some of my favorite black covers from the PCH era
  15. Doom and gloom for AF 15. I project it will head down to its cover price of 12c in a few short years.
  16. Looks 2.0/2.5 to me. Sold for fmv in my opinion.
  17. Just sold at Weiss Auctions today for $39k without the 18% bp
