  1. There used to be a poster, his user ID escapes my mind right now, where he would do the opposite as you NoMan where he would always pump up the value of AF 15 that it will only increased in value every year. Sadly, he no longer posts anymore since the value of AF 15's have dipped. I thought it was very entertaining.
  2. Great sales thread Bri! Tell ya what I'll buy you a bottle of alcohol of your choice than after drinking the whole thing you can go ahead and list those sweet early Tecs for cover price
  3. DING DING DING, we have a winner! Exactly what I was thinking too when I first saw this thread. I dunno why they wouldn't have colored labels for the new superhero image labels. Doesn't make sense This has to be brought up with CGC IMMEDIATELY. It's already getting out of hand.
  4. Prices seem about right in those grades depending on eye appeal of course. I sold a 4.5 for $38k this year so it's right in line with the last sale of a 4.5
  5. Reviving this thread with another big key book.. Tales of Suspense #39 CGC 5.0 Offwhite-white pages.. Has the rare double quotes and blue under table if that matters to anyone, just pointing out . Nicely centered, beautiful colors. Asking $8,500 (last sale was $9,000).. Checks preferred, time payments are an option
  6. I'm wondering what the ratio is between Oct/Nov copies of Marvel 1. I'm guessing 1 copy of Oct for every 30 Nov copies? What about copies showing both Nov/Oct
  7. Yup AS 8 was at it's all time high in 2017 due to first WW movie that was out during the summer. Starting 2018 it started its decline. But ya Cap 1 has trumped AS 8 in every other grade besides the 9.4 due to the reason mentioned above. AS 8 kinda reminded me of how MF 73 performed during their respective movie hypes.
  8. All valid points above. Main thing is that no WW on cover and heavily available practically anywhere. Book has gone down in value since the WW movie I believe. Probably now is at its ground level, was over priced to begin with.
  9. I liked what Straw-Man said. I'll vote for the above too but if it's only for just one label, I like Option #4.
  10. ^ If only that was the cover to Bat 1.. Insert drools! But anyways back to Bat 1 vs Supes 1. Value-wise Supes 1 edges over Bat 1 in practically every grade, more so when we go higher. Supes 1 is just super rare in high grade (highest graded Supes 1 is an 8.0 vs Batman a 9.2). Also there is something special about a 1939 book. Who knows what happens in the future but this is what is current. I like both books and there could be a better debate when it comes to historical importance.
  11. Ah ok I am convinced. I'll give it until today up for sale for the price. If it doesn't sell today, I'll take it down and resub myself. I think that's fair.
  12. Beautiful copy Pickycollector! I looked over my copy again and noticed that the spine tick marks on mine are shorter and fewer than your copy, especially mid going down where it's pretty clean.
  13. So what about my other books for sale. Anyone interested? lol. Or do I have to put up another big book up Thanks to those who have PM'ed me and again for the 2 sales thus far. Keep those questions coming folks.
