I guess I had the wrong "boobie" in my mind this morning

Been toying with the idea of outing a board member who agreed to buy a pretty big book from me since around Jan., had me wanting to wait months to get the money which I was cool about, then just recently backing out completely (not once, not twice, but 3x after he changed his mind about pursuing to buy). Stupid me for not getting a non-refundable deductible for the long hold and headache. Lesson learned.

Geeze another comic Robert, been very popular among thieves lately. Never store anything valuable in a storage unit ever, could possibly be an inside job too. Someone knows he has some valuable comics stored, how else can they know. Hope the thieves get caught and all books returned to owner. Will be on the lookout online.

I remembered Nik through the boards (never met him in person, not sure if I personally talked to him before), but he seemed like a great guy to be around who knows his stuff. Always sad to see a board member pass away, just everything changes. May he RIP. I know this is a Nik thread, but I also want to address a fellow Batman collector who passed away around 10 years now too.. Ben Novak Jr. Dunno if some of you guys have met or talked to him, but he was one of the guys I looked up to in this hobby. He had one of the best Batman collections in the world I've ever came about knowing. We used to talk a lot about Batman and Pre-Robin Tecs in general. Just a tragic how he was murdered..

I think this service only caters to noobs who do not know much about comics in general. I'd be surprised if any board member here uses this service (hopefully I don't get banned for saying that )

With today's technology, anything is possible. A lot of fake higher end sports cards out there such as the 86 Fleer Jordan rookie which was previously mentioned and of course the 52 Mantle rookie. It appears to me that a lot of these counterfeit sports cards are looking more and more like the real ones, even with the most minuscule of detail. Dunno how counterfeited comics look, never seen one that looks identical to the original. Only see a lot of the reprints.

Would be interesting indeed! I personally do not like this change. We'll see how everyone else reacts to it.
