JMO, and I could be wrong, but I think these shows are bringing in a few thousand new buyers. Not crazy numbers compared to the viewership but the print runs of these books aren't THAT large. And then you have collectors whose focus is elsewhere also buying in. Like basketball and Pokemon card collectors. Again in small numbers but compared to the print count of these books, especially when you slice down to the portion of them that are available and up for purchase, it really doesn't take a large influx of buyers to make a book really move... I think it becomes clearer why so many books are suddenly going 4x or more

I caught a Cap #25 for $8 yesterday but it's the anti-bullying variant. Should be able to off it for a quick $20 or so though, better than nothing

I wonder what's the long term future of Geiger #1 GitD. Does it trade with the other issues even though it came out a week later? So far it looks like it's fetching $10 My favorite read right now is Stray Dogs though, love the parody covers too. Think I'll go back and pick up the cover A's too

My LCS didn't have issue #2 but I did grab three copies of #1. Their very last 3. They also restocked Geiger Cover A so I grabbed 3 more of those as well(3 is their limit on new releases and sometimes back issues if they feel like I'm getting too lucky )

Here's a low-risk, low-reward one... Amazing Spider-Man #329, first tri-sentinel. There is going to be a LOT of X-content() across the films, Disney+, Hulu... we'll definitely get sentinels but will we get tri-sentinels? And will anyone care about their first app if we do? As a bonus this is also the first time we get Spider-Man's Captain Universe outfit, which is bound to reappear in the video games at least and video games have moved the market before...

238 easy. The black suit is a cool era for Spidey but 238 is a new villain, a major one too, AND you get free tattooz! No brainer IMO Plus as a collector all the copies floating around without tattooz means that the circulation of complete copies has to be relatively low whereas I bet 252 has more copies around than the issue prior or after...

Yep, and as long as the print runs don't explode I don't think comic fans have anything to worry about. I feel like the card collectors are mostly buying graded books or back issues, they're not in shops on NCBD

Maybe Batman should try fighting in a room that doesn't have that particular style of wallpaper, can't be too tough
