  1. I see cards are starting to become popular again. Decided to go through my sets and thought I’d share.
  2. Sent in my first batch just before Thanksgiving. My comics were received on 12/2. They still show as "received." At time of delivery, they said about 65 days for grading and 35 for pressing, do they mean business days or total days, and does that mean 100 combined?
  3. A good Spawn movie without Todd directing or writing. Let the pros handle it. Also, Kingdom Come! Uncanny X-men 268. Would be a great way to introduce Wolverine to the MCU.
  4. Each episode has been better than the previous one, so I'm really like the show. Was smart of them to release the first two together. The time period/sets are probably the reason the first two weren't just one episode.
  5. That's the one! On my bottom part, it had a date written on it. The white bottom section is perforated and it eventually came apart.
  6. Soundgarden is the only band that I like more than AIC.
  7. Apparently, I gotta work on my eBay skills. I couldn't find either band posters on there. Thanks, peeps!
  8. Probably very true for the Spawn and Wildcats. I bought them brand new so I maybe spent 10-15 dollars combined. That was the mid 90's. I got the Wildcats at San Diego Comic Con.
  9. Yeah, I'm thinking something along those lines. The Alice In Chains poster didn't cost me anything. It was an advertising posting, so you couldn't buy it. If any of these are worth something, it'd be that one. I've just been sitting on it for 30 years. Might have paid $30 for the Tool poster back in 2001. I just want to make sure I don't get ripped off if I try selling something.
  10. I’m curious about poster values. Unfortunately these are too big to be graded by CGC and I’m not sure they do comic posters. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks! Spawn and Wildcats are pretty self explanatory, but I also have tour posters for Tool and Alice in Chain . The Alice In Chains was a display poster in a store. It was not for sale. I got it from a music store in Tacoma. The Tool poster I ordered online so I don’t know its origin.
  11. Thanks. I didn’t know eBay could show items already sold. I’ll definitely use that.
  12. That's the part that confused me. I see multiple copies on eBay asking for $100 to $500. I don't know where they're getting these prices.
  13. So I’m in the process of re-bagging and boarding my comic books, when I come across my old Crow graphic novel. I didn’t realize it was in great shape. it’s also signed. Not sure what to do from this point. I can’t find a value reference. Is it eligible for cleaning? How do you protect something like this? Thanks ahead! A newb.
  14. It’s jumped in the last two weeks. FMV was $60 two weeks ago now it’s $95. Not sure why. Feel like I didn’t get the memo.
  15. I have one. X Force 1 is finally gaining value and I’m not sure why, so I’ve been looking for a raw 9.8.
  16. I have Cyberforce 1-4 (mini series) signed by Marc. Uncanny X-men 275 and 276 signed by Chris, and Uncanny X-men 242 signed by both. I got the signatures at San Diego comic con back in the 90’s, when it was still easy to get into, and well before I heard of cgc. Would you send them to CBCS for verification or no? I still have my con badge and pictures of Marc and Chris to prove I was there. I wish that was enough for CGC to give a SS case.
  17. I’m not sure what its value is. I just saw a 6.0 was still worth a little bit of money. Wondering if the tear will make it a 6.0 or something like a 3.0. Without the tear it’s definitely higher than 6.0. Somewhere in the 7’s or 8’s would be my guess.
  18. Good question. Would that devalue it? ive thought about sending in autographed books. I have 4 signed by Marc Silvestri and 2 signed by Chris Claremont and 1 signed by both.
  19. That’s a good point. I think I’ll send it in since it needs pressing anyway and I’ll keep it for myself, at least for a little while.
  20. Pressing would definitely help. It has several flaws that can be pressed out. The cleaning process would help some too. And yes that is a Soundgarden vinyl from tower records. Miss me some record stores. Never opened it because I had the CD. It’s sitting on a few other vinyls. Have an autographed one framed. I’m the dude on the left in the pic
  21. I have a question related to this. What if all the issues are 9.6 or 9.8? I have all four of xcalibre, amazing X-Men, weapon X, astonishing X-Men, generation next, x man, gambit and the xternals, the amazing X-Men and factor X in near mint. I just looked through my collection and was surprised by how well preserved they are. All have white pages too. I also have chronicles 1 and X-men Alpha 1 in perfect shape with white pages. Sounds crazy, but until last week I haven’t touched them for 25 years. I’m in the process of double bagging and boarding them.
  22. So, I bought this issue a long time ago in the $1 or $2 dollar bin, we’re talking a year or so after it came out. If you look closely, it’s came with a significant tear by the title, about two inches. I’m on the fence about sending it in for grading. I’m guessing it’s worthless, but not completely convinced since 6.0’s are valued at 210. Worth the trouble or no way?
  23. Man, that would be crushing not to get at least a bunch of 9.8's. Most of them were unread copies (I bought doubles) and I taped them shut. When I checked the pages for colors, you could hear how crisp the pages were. But sounds like I should be surprised if I get any above a 9.8. I'll post some of the results when I get them back.
