  1. probably $200-$400 USD. There is no relevant pricing data base, and you're not going to find out an accurate estimate until it's sold at an auction. Depends when you sell it as well, it might be worth half in a year from now, or it might be worth double. No one is going to be able to tell you it is precisely worth X amount.
  2. Yes. You need to get sub grades for a “perfect 10”. People read this and assume falsely that a 10 is not possible without paying for sub grades. They are just as likely to give a 10 to a bulk submission as they are any other service level. Anything else is simply speculation without any shred of evidence. I don’t see how this is a big deal. PSA is the largest card grading service and doesn’t even offer sub grades. If it’s a huge deal to you to have the word “pristine” replaced with the word “perfect”, then pay for sub grades. If you can live with just the word “pristine”, don’t pay for sub grades.
  3. YOU DO NOT NEED SUBGRADES TO GET A PRISTINE 10. There are plenty of examples of CGC pristine 10’s WITHOUT subgrades. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/324662518275 https://www.ebay.ca/itm/393376243313 https://www.ebay.ca/itm/324658562816 https://www.ebay.ca/itm/224458738346
  4. Nope. They are up to their eyeballs in Pokemon alone. They won't be expanding to other TCGs for years. There is probably 20 other TCGs they'll be grading before they ever touch any CS:GO cards.
  5. This is silly. I've sent packages containing 1600 cards, with my average being about 400. Send them all in at once. Fill out the shipping form for each card. Do your best guess for the cards. Guess on the lower range so you can get into the cheaper service, as it's very very unlikely CGC will dispute the value of a card you submit.
  6. that's how many get listed by all users across the platform. He's not saying the app will let you list 150 a minute.
  7. They're up to their eyeballs in TCG, they have way too much on their plate. To grade these, they would have to train their staff on how these were made, their production, what makes a 9 vs a 10, etc. CGC will open up their grading service to a dozen other Pokemon and trading card variants before they start grading these playing cards. Check back in 3 years.
  8. Tough to say, maybe 40-60%? Maybe more, maybe less, really hard to give an accurate estimate.
  9. Not everything, but lots of holos, promos, 1st editions from all sets, etc. I don’t see a downside In getting most of these graded, you just have to have the capital to acquire and then pay for grading.
  10. I thought this would be interesting to see how many cards people have there right now. I have about 6000 cards sitting there, about 3.6K received, the rest not being entered in as "received" yet. How many do you have?
  11. People say CGC has ugly labels but MY GAWWWDDD DSG labels are the ugliest thing I could have possibly imagined.
  12. Why doesn't CGC just open a location in every single city in America??? It can't be tht hard to do right guys??????? It only would require real estate purchases, building development, hiring of thousands of employees, billions of dollars of capital, training programs, additional consulting costs, marketing, lawyers, insurance, etc.
  13. Nope. This was an issue when they started grading. Likely only a few were affected. They have since fixed the issue and this issue has not been brought up in 6+ months. I have owned 1200+ slabs and not a single one has had this issue. CGC has a verification function on their website. To be sure the card in the slab was the card originally graded, enter in the serial number on this page and compare photos https://www.cgccomics.com/certlookup/
  14. I've been trying for the past 3 days to get my orders in. Your website has been excruciating to deal with this past week, and I understand that is likely because everyone is trying to use it all at once. I don't want to sit here and throw blame on CGC or any users, it's a bad situation all around. Websites crash, and I get that, but the right thing to do would be to help out all the customers who desperately were trying to get our order in on time. This isn't really far to us customers. I had everything in order, everything ready to go, all my cards sleeved up, pull tabs ready, but I wasn't able to put them into your system. I had a few hundred cards I wanted to submit. At a $5 per card increase, that's a huge punch to the gut in terms of cost. I was prepared, I had a plan to submit in these last couple days, but your website failed myself and everyone else. Your website failing is costing me thousands of dollars. Please please please extend the price increase date for another week. Let us all get our orders in on time (like we were trying to do). We all love your service, your cases, and we've had your back against all the naysayers. We're out here trying to prove to the world that CGC is just as good (or even better) than all of your huge competitors. Please have our back on this as we've all had your back and helped you grow into one of the top Pokemon graders in the world.
  15. I got this email today from Paul...hopefully they can extend the price update. We're very sorry that you're experiencing issues with the CGC Online Submission Form. Please report your specific issue and/or request to Service@cgccards.com. Please note that we are experience a significant volume of requests right now, and we will address requests in the order in which they are received. We are logging the exact time that each request is received, so we will know if a request has been made before the price change goes into effect. Please email the customer service email today to have your complaint logged with them.
  16. CGC isn't going to give you an answer on what a card is worth. They're a grading company, not an appraisal company.
  17. site has been having issues for the past 48 hours, it's nearly impossible to enter cards in.....constant VOID errors, saying my shopping cart is being used and I have to refresh, etc. The site is operating at like 2-3 times slower than usual. Something is wrong on your side
  18. English, card name is just Ancient Mew
  19. that's not even enough for an OC grade, it would have to be way worse. This is probably an 8 or 8.5 for centering
