    Rumors are that Whalesville will not be getting another print run since it was so expensive, so first prints is all there may be for this one. No 2nd printing for Whalesville?

    He is quickly becoming my favorite artist. I have the Marvels #1 virgin set coming and 3 of his SIKTC 16 sets, those look amazing! I got my DOT 1 Quah cover back with the 9.8, loving it!

    What %s separate a "market correction" vs a "bubble burst"? If GSXM 1 drops 20%, which one is it? 30%? Etc... what is the red line where it's no longer a normal correction and is doom and gloom?

    Both solid contenders but I think "my book is delivered why isn't CGC showing it" gets the slight edge.

    It's not hard evidence, but the last 2 weeks I've started seeing several sale ads posted for slightly less than the last ebay sold price. 2 weeks ago most things were posted slightly more than last ebay sold price.

    I won't give any specific books but I will say that if you look at the formula that Marvel implemented leading up to their first Avengers movie and its success, and compare that pattern against current projects, certain comics may emerge as fitting in that pattern almost perfectly. Marvel proved the formula, I see no reason they would change it.

    If Marvel gets in the grading game, it won't be long before we have variant slabs.

    Yeah it says that, but my submission was marked FT and opened just a few days after being received, so while it isn't an "official" practice, there is evidence that employees in the mail room still grab them sooner. It was also in a CGC shipping box, dunno if that influenced it either.

    I sent one in still polybagged, the reason I didn't open it was to avoid any fingerprints or potential damages, let CGC open it. I put a quick note and signature on the packing slip authorizing them to open it, not sure if that was needed or not. I also did an express press because I've heard of issues after opening polybags, got a 9.6.

    Traded these for a UF4 9.6. I'm happy with it, only 13 of the SS on the census and I might have the only newsstand in that grade, plus my first pedigree piece and it's from one of my favorites.
