And every one has a T&P stamp, except the last one. So did that one escape Ethel's stampede do we think, or did Brian pop to the states on holiday 

Nice to think of Brian, popping to his local newsagent 60 years ago, all excited, isn't it....

I have a couple of them from Brian woods collection as well 

This one looks pretty good the is slight colour loss with the dot on Blastaars arm

This one isn’t the worst but could definitely be better 

I don’t think it’s in to bad of condition the staples are attached firmly no cut outs is all complete inside

That’s a nice copy it looks higher then a 5.5 to me I like that Dr Doom is guarding it

While I prefer the actual UK price variants (like below, printed with pence price circles/boxes), I wish that my collection had more of the T&P stamped versions, especially where I already have the regular cents version and the UK price variant.  It would have been cool to have the full set of three versions for some of my keys.   Too expensive to do that now, sadly.  

I have a fair few comics with the Thorpe and Porter they either can look alright and non disruptive or really annoying I’m trading for a Batman 227 at the moment with one on and it’s be placed on the title what’s okay but I’ve had some where they where put on a character’s face

101 is a tough book to find in high grade I’ve noticed it’s always nice when you find a high grade copy definitely with pence

These last 50 issues of the run were strangely some of the most difficult for me to track down locally. I had hoped to find these issues at my local comic shops and pick them up serendipitously as I would have in the old days before the internet. But they were not to be found at any of the many LCS here in San Antonio. Carmine Infantino returned to draw the beloved character he helped create in 1956. Such a great way to end the run. I believe Cary Bates wrote the scripts up to #350? (Double check me on that Flash fans.) Great and classic story line and a fitting end (sadly) to a nearly 30 year run. Luckily I was able to pick them all up from one of you fellow Flash fans here on the boards who was ready to part with them.  

It seems there is relatively less of them around compared to other parts of the run I live in Britain and have only found a beat up 323 and the 324 and 325 what are good grade it seems there’s less flash of that time available I wonder why
