  1. I'm aware. He simply suggested they incorporate it into the slabs which isn't a bad idea. I have cards on my desk in UV sleeves. I'm not the one giving someone some sarcastic response on curtains when they had a valid idea.
  2. Not many people want to live in a dungeon just so they can display some collectibles.
  3. It's the bold one. I had a TCG sub through CGC when it was 30 day turnaround. Took 85 days to complete. With bulk being the slowest tier it will come almost to a full stop if they have a lot of standard, EX/WK orders coming in. It may not be the full 199 days but it will probably be pretty damn close.
  4. Worst part is, they seem to have no intention of doing anything to solve it.
  5. I had one of those flimsy pieces of cardboard lying around. I forgot it came from them. Yeah, those are pretty bad for keeping the cards separated and secure. Must be an issue with acquiring the foam.
  6. Then only a calendar year wait after that!!! Shouldn't be legal to have so much fun!
  7. I get where he's coming from though with sending in something on an 80 day turnaround that becomes 199 so I don't blame him for feeling "baited". I would've never submitted at the time if I knew it was as bad as it was. While reading that article I linked the CCG president said he didn't think the backlog was unmanageable, even though they were over a month behind on opening submissions at that point. The principle of the matter gets me irate as much or more than the actual time.
  8. That's a generic phrase for multiple situations in which what's advertised isn't what's available or received. Doesn't apply to just cars.
  9. You want to see a professional troll? https://sportscollectorsdigest.com/.amp/news/psa-suspension-sports-card-grading-companies-impact-becketts-csg-sgc Scroll down the the CSG interview.
  10. I seriously doubt he has much to do with this honestly. I imagine yo'ure probably looking more towards the director of operations, or their boss. As someone who's income is reliant on selling cards at the moment I definitely feel your frustrations.
  11. I believe you have to have it regraded through the appropriate tier, not the re-holder option.
  12. THIS THIS THIS ^^^^^^^^^^^ Feels like getting bamboozled to the umpteenth degree. Have to say I spent some time on the phone with one of the CS managers today as well. Their CS is a God send considering how ramped up this situation has gotten me. I 1000% agree with you on that front. I was in the same boat, called early last week before my package was opened and asked that a shipping label be slapped on it and to be billed. Obviously didn't happen, but that can't possibly be more work than opening the order. So it confuses me why they won't. I get not hunting it down, but why not flag it to be returned when it finally surfaces instead of opening it?
  13. They should credit you in the invoice, meaning when they charge your card it'll be $150 less than the total fee. You shouldn't have to do anything.
  14. I seriously doubt the people that make the decisions are. I think you have some managers, maybe even director level people that do but I doubt anyone that's has the final say on this mess. Even then, I feel like by how political the responses are that they're muzzled by the people above them.
  15. I just want my cards back. This isn't what I signed up for after they've pushed times back 2-3x. Can't have my merchandise I need to sell held hostage. Also, low turnaround time was the only reason I used them to begin with 😂. If I hadn't got the bait and switch on that I would've never used this company.
  16. Not only bulk but standard as well. I was thinking the exact same thing a few days ago. Once these other companies are rolling again I don't see CCG doing much. The biggest reason for using this company was speed. Lowest returns, and long wait? No thanks.
  17. You knew what he meant 😒 No one understands, many people at the last show saw some of my CSG/CGC slabs and the convos at some point brought that up.
  18. SGC got theirs under control, Beckett and PSA said they couldn't deal with it at stopped subs to try to get through the backlog. CSG and CGC are just getting longer and longer, with no drastic action to control turnaround on their end. It took them a month to get through a week's worth of deliveries. Instead of capping subs, jacking the price way up they increased by a tiny margin, probably so they could make more without deterring subs. They've shown time and time again through lack of communication that they don't give two f*cks about the customers. I've been calling CS asking for my sub to be sent back, considering they haven't opened it in two calendar months. They won't even send back unopened orders, when it finally comes time for it to be opened. There's absolutely no reason that shouldn't be possible other than they can force you to continue the process and bill you even though it's not even remotely close to the estimate. It took 50 business days to open a package when turnaround was 25 when sent. 30? 40 to complete? Sure. 50 f*cking days just to get to the order and not think there might be a problem? Management is a joke at this place. Yeah, we all get the hobby is up, look at the turnaround thread on CGC forum. The second or third comment is a dude that asked one of the Admins what they were going to do to deal with PSA shutting down the day after that announcement. The response was something to the effect of "We don't care what they do, we focus on improving our system". So you're telling me every customer with two brain cells could figure out things were about to go fubar but the people paid to figure it out as their job couldn't? I can't fathom a world in which the man can be that dumb so the political answer was to answer the question without actually answering the question. I don't think they're insufficiently_thoughtful_persons. So it boils down to trying to do what's right for customers vs $$$$ and they chose the $. They came into this game far far after PSA and Beckett were already brought to their knees. At every turn they've mess on the consumer to get more money. Think people are completely justified in complaining about this mess show when 90% of it could've been avoided.
  19. At this point I'd be willing to pay just about anything to get my stuff away from this company as fast possible. It's just been one thing after another, and I've been submitting stuff since last Dec. Some of it was okay in the beginning but it's turned into an absolute nightmare.
  20. If I were them, I'd rather people vent their frustrations here where I'd imagine not many people come. Better here than on Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, and YouTube.
  21. I believe this is spot on. I have subs with both CGC trading cards and CSG for sports. With the recent increase in turnaround I've seen post where people are still getting their stuff "graded" in the previous time frame when it makes it to "received". The increase in turnaround appears to be related to logistics in terms of being able to get packages open and shipped more than anything. Whether it's a lack of material, physical space or machinery they seem to be having a really hard time in the logistics area that's bottlenecking the order process and the increase in TAT is to compensate for delays in those areas. Just wish they'd be upfront about what the hell is going on.
  22. Feel like we're on the same page, as I said workspace. Didn't necessarily mean just physical space limitations but like your analogy of the two people in one hole. At one point I did work in transportation for a few years. Little different in terms of freight, but some things factor across the board. Can't have 15 forklifts if you can't effectively operate them all in the same place. I was saying that I don't believe labor is the limiting factor. The actual grading times seem to be on par with what they were prior to the increase in TAT. Stating that the limitations seem to be on the logistics side more so than the grading.
