That was in jest, and I wasn't going that deep with but that would be more accurate. Point being no one would be alright with that or be livid if they didn't expect something like that and I increased my "estimation" by 300%+. At what point would people just rather go without? Especially with the cards not being returned we've run I to a situation in which we are completely at their mercy as the customer.

What was it previously for standard? 48? Even at that, my package would have to be moving fast in the next two weeks to make it by then.

Sub delivered 4/2, sitting on business day 36 today even though TAT on standard is 40. Sub still hasn't been opened, so I think it's safe to assume that isn't accurate. Box wasn't marked ST, as I don't remember anything about subs at that time saying to mark the box for anything other than EX and WK.

I'd check it thoroughly to make sure they didn't switch it. Happens a lot with cards.

Someone in the CGC side got an email about the package that was delivered was empty. Sounds like they might be jacking packages at one of those POs or the distro center. With the delay in packages being opened you wouldn't even be able to file with USPS I don't think(15 or 30 days?). I'd consider your situation very lucky!

The only bad thing being if a lot of standard + orders come through now that bulk is so high on turn around it'll just keep pushing it back.

We've been waiting for one on the trading cards for a while, so I wouldn't expect it too soon. Might not be a high priority thing for them.

Them getting an empty package is scary. Means registered mail, or a different carrier from now on.

It's just hard predict time-frames when you're talking about potential 200% increases. If it's like 80 bus days and takes 90, that's not a big issue. If it's 80 and jumps to 160 that's a major problem. It's also subjective in terms of what tier level. A 300% increase on something like WK going from 5 to 15 days isn't necessarily a lot of time even though it's the same increase. If they were more open about their long term plan, or how they were planning on curbing TAT it would probably ease a lot of fears. Anytime someone ask hard questions they seem to go ghost though. Kind of like how long it took them to really acknowledge on the sub page that they are waaaay behind on getting packages opened.

This right here has been one of the most irritating things about it to me. Anytime someone ask something of any substance it's completely ignored.

I would have had no idea they needed to be marked for standard if I hadn't read this post. I don't read their sub page every day. Not that it would affect me at this point anyways 😂 I think I'll have spent about $4k total on grading with them since last Dec. Not a big spender compared to most, but still a lot of money spent to get the runaround in the way that I and everyone else have gotten. Pretty sure that April sub will be my last. They've crippled me with cash flow trying to time things off of their TAT. They currently have about 80% of my merchandise, and about $4k of it was a standard order when TAT was still like 22-25 days but has sat unopened for almost two full months.

I feel like 50-60s cards it doesn't really apply. A 7-8 on one of those is about as good as it gets, so a 6 to me is still high end(to me anyways). Not saying that there aren't 9-10s out there but very very very few compared to later years. Like you said, there can be quite a leap in price on some between a 4 and a 6, so I agree that grading those isn't a bad idea.

Turnaround time on standard says 48 days. I'd be surprised if my order delivered 4/2 even gets opened in that time...
