  1. It'll probably be in-between the original turnaround and the updated.
  2. Thanks. That was driving me nuts. I've seen it, I just couldn't remember what movie it was from. I kept thinking Harold and Kumar for some reason.
  3. So you're saying we're in an abusive relationship with CGC? Sounds accurate tbh.
  4. Many a good point. Don't know why they didn't roll cards under one umbrella, and do everything card related similar to what PSA has going. My guess was they just don't have the resources.
  5. If there's a way to nickel and dime, I'm sure they'll find it. I remember when RuneScape, old browser game, was bought out by an investment company. Nightmare. I'm not necessarily against one company buying out another but companies like that go hard for every cent.
  6. If you haven't been billed already and paid it might be on hold. I'd call them either way.
  7. Not sure how you ad micro transactions to collectibles but a VC is how it starts. Be like .02 cents per post .05 cent to use the verification link .10 to check your order status
  8. Just hit the Finalized/Shipped status so all I have are the online scans. Pretty good on this standard batch. Everything 8.5 or above. Couple of VMAX 9 Zards and other stuff not worth picturing.
  9. Standard Delivered: 4/2 Received: 6/11 Grading/QC: 6/29 Shipped: 7/1 Currently business day 63 as of 6/30 when original turnaround was 25 or 30 days. 64 day total turn around.
  10. Called accounting to find out the cards were on hold because it was trying to charge me 2x for subgrades. Glad my order that's done has just been on hold for an accounting error. Really appreciate that, considering I didn't get a call or email to inform me. 👍
  11. I called CS after seeing quite a few other subs getting done that were delivered months after mine. Pretty much got told there are too many packages, tough mess. Mine was delivered very first part of April before the marking packages ST like yours.
  12. I don't believe FedEx is insured unless you do the shipping through your own account at checkout. I personally prefer them or UPS though. USPS still hasn't recovered from delays last year.
  13. I have a Ring as well. It's absolute garbage. Wind sets it off, but doesn't go off when I need it to. I'm in Atlanta. Generally not the best area but I've been here for almost 30 years and so have my neighbors. Been here before the area became trash so all decent people. No one really tries stuff in this particular neighborhood.
  14. I've had a few that display like that on the submission page. The labels were normal though, so I wouldn't worry.
  15. My bulk delivered 4/2 went into received on May 25th. Still in received. Your bulk delivered 4/26 is SFG? 🤔
  16. On top of that it looks super cockeyed, I'm assuming it moves a bit in the sleeve? Not very aesthetically pleasing
  17. I don't really have much brand loyalty. To me it's just about cost to performance. $8 with 80 day turnaround made sense. Doesn't make sense financially for me at 200. I'd rather pay $30 and have a 15 day turnaround and send in fewer cards. Can't do much about it now though. While I think CSG slabs look nice, and the grading is accurate it really gives me a fat shafting when the turnaround 2-3xs. Forces my income down to only what I have in raw cards. I can't even determine how many raws to hang onto because I don't know when the ones I sent for grading will actually come back 😂. No grading is stress free at the moment but going from 4 months to a calendar year just makes it too difficult to compensate for.
  18. I believe I remember seeing something that said charges would be at SFG, and then I've seen where others said you get charged at grading. Will customer service be able to go ahead and bill for cards in the SFG stage? Don't want any possible issues to slow down the process.
  19. Fixing cards is something they get done pretty fast. By "fast" I mean like within a week or two.
  20. I know. Wish I could get my stuff back from this place so I could send it there 😂
  21. Wouldn't count on it. Was received 6/11 been in SFG since the 14/15th. Today is day 59. Might make it by 65 days, but pretty sure the standard turnaround was also 25 when it was subbed 🤣 Not much of a consolation prize to make it within 65 days.
  22. I apologize then, the way I read that I thought you were insinuating that he should cover all the windows instead of getting UV protection on his slabs. In all seriousness I don't think UV film on the cases or the aftermarket sleeves are a bad idea. I keep everything out of direct sunlight regardless of what it's in and I can't tell that any of it has faded. I'm can't distinguish where any of the UV sleeves have changed color but I don't think it would ever be a good idea to keep anything in direct sunlight regardless of what you have on it. I don't cover the windows but I have them in places where direct sunlight isn't an issue.
