  1. ..... and I did happily buy from Ken again and encountered the same excellent communication, packaging and professionalism. This time it was a pair of omnibus's (omnibi?) Anyone should feel happy to deal with Ken, he's the real deal. (thumbs u
  2. If I had super powers, why on Earth would I suddenly develop the desire to dress differently, let alone dress in colourful spandex? I would be fighting crime in my jeans and T shirt with maybe a warm jacket in the colder weather.
  3. Thor # 165/166 did develop the character of Warlock as he had barely appeared at that point. From his tiny appearance in the FF story (which I'm not trying to diminish the importance of) we knew what he was and where he came from and pretty much nothing else. At that point, Warlock was nearly a blank canvas and could have been taken in nearly any direction. The Thor story wasn't very deep but it gave some direction and character that hadn't been there before.
  4. "Reprints" the case the people make are these prints are the first introductions of these stories so to them they are original editions in a different language. That's all fine & well but still doesn't change the fact that the correct term would be foreign language reprints. I was born in Denmark and read Danish reprints of American comics growing up - that those reprints were my first introduction to a lot of the Marvel characters doesn't mean that they're suddenly "original editions". Yes, that's right though it's worth noting for those who don't know that the UK has both UK editions and UK reprints. UK "pence copies" are not reprints as they are original copies printed at the same time as the cents copies but there were many UK titles such as Mighty World Of Marvel and others which should be referred to as reprints.
  5. Michael Douglas is Hank Pym, Paul Rudd is Scott Lang and will be Ant Man. http://www.newsarama.com/20026-ant-man-casts-michael-douglas-as-hank-pym.html
  6. Maybe the film will feature both characters as Ant Man.
  7. Something similar, thread link Niche Collecting/Subject Matter Experts My favorite part of that thread: Doesn't matter which book you have - as long as it's a 9.8 (or above), Mr. 9.8 is the go-to expert. But only if they have white pages. I remember that, that cracked me up.
  8. Well, Wright has confirmed that Hank Pym is in the movie and the first article that I quoted had Wright making it appear that he would be Ant Man. It looks like there isn't definite confirmation from Wright that Pym will be Ant Man or that there won't be two Ant Men, eg Pym and Lang.
  9. Another article to support it. http://www.thewrap.com/paul-rudd-early-talks-play-ant-man-edgar-wrights-marvel-movie-exclusive/
  10. That doesn't even say that Scott Lang will be in the film. The link I provided, if not providing a definite confirmation from Wright himself, would've meant that he was deliberately trying to mislead people into believing that Pym will be Ant Man. IMDb have Rudd listed as Hank Pym/Ant Man. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0478970/
  11. It's been confirmed as Hank Pym for months. This is not True. All we know it's a heist movie meaning odds are its Lang. No, it's been confirmed as Pym for months. If you really don't believe me then I'll dig out links confirming it. dig em out This article was from August. 13. It's been confirmed as Hank Pym for months.
  14. I've sold a slabbed ASM # 194 to Wong and it was a very smooth transaction. Prompt payment and excellent communication, I'd happily sell to him again. (thumbs u
  15. Just bought from Don for the first time and it was a perfect transaction. Excellent packaging, fast delivery and Don is very easy to talk to. Recommended seller. (thumbs u
  16. We're no spring chickens either. Yeah, I thought I was gonna be old around here. Heck, I am in the median age-range! -slym Noob.
  17. I was on the buying side of a deal with Marc this time and he's just as great to deal with when buyng as when selling to him. An excellent comic arrived safely via international shipping as well as some great freebies too. Marc is a class act all the way. (thumbs u
  18. His Uncanny X Men run was just OK. It wasn't bad but just wasn't at all memorable and the pacing of the storyline seemed a bit off if I remember correctly. He also did X Men - Deadly Genesis which I did think was good.
  19. Yeah, his Daredevil run was definitely worth checking out. (thumbs u
  20. Actually on further inspection, I have more posts than I thought.
