  1. Hi Folks, I've listed a batch of art on ebay starting at 1 cent with no reserve! They are: 1. An X-Men page featuring the wedding of Jean Grey and Scott Summers! 2. Another X-men Page featuring Legion (FX TV Series) by Khoi Pham 3. An Emerald Dawn page featuring Sinestro 4. A Detailed Brett Booth Pencil Commission ebay link Thanks for looking Malvin
  2. It could be that, I think it also might be when bill took the most commented and most viewed out of the front page of CAF. I thought/felt that comments went down after that. I think having it on the front page slowed down the page loading, and it did lead to people inflating their comments and views to get attention. Malvin
  3. Watch out everyone, Roger might stalk you! Malvin
  4. And someone with pointy ears standing on it Malvin
  5. maybe, but some people also message all the friends, acquaintances, neighbour's dog or anyone that has internet access to essentially ask for comments. For someone specific that I am thinking of, the most mediocre art gets a ton of comments and people leaving comments aren't CAF users that I recognize. Malvin
  6. I use it, I can't say offhand how many I follow, maybe 2 or 3 dozen In general I would follow if they are likely to add art that I would enjoy or if they are friends Malvin
  7. Yeah, my answer would be similar to Simons. No one has ever approached me when my pages are the last few they need, but someone did approach me when they were just starting and I said come back to me when you are closer to completing. My person never got close either. Malvin
  8. Here are the scans. The NSFW one is not shown, go to m auction! that will be the last scan ebay link Thanks for looking Malvin

  10. so how did everyone do tonight? I was quite pleased with the 2 JR JR's I consigned, definitey exceeded expectations. The Tim Sale Long Halloween page was disappointing, especially since I turned down a private offer for more before I consigned it. Then again, it was a bleh page and I did ok relative to my purchase price so no complaints. Was not after a lot but did manage to pick up 1 or 2 things, will post once I have them in hand! Malvin
  11. I added a couple of Zeck Handbook of the Marvel Universe pieces to my gallery: Electro and Vermin thanks for looking! Malvin
  12. The stuff I want finishes tomorrow Really pleased with the finish on my Dorman GI Joe. I was basically asking for the auction finish price on CAF with no luck. I lowered it by over $100 and still nothing, but now it went for what I thought it was worth! I was sweating there until the last few minutes though Malvin
  13. Hi Folks, I listed a batch of art starting at 1 cent with no reserve! They are: 1. Khoi Pham Incredible Hercules page with Herc (Hulk Replacement) 4. Dan Panosian Alan Moore's Supreme Colour Commission ebay link Thanks for looking Malvin
  14. nope, he was the writer. I saw him at a con and got him to sign this page (and other ones he wrote), since I like writers to sign pages too. Malvin

  16. Yeah, I'm not sold that any modern cover featuring a popular marvel character on a cool image is automatically 1K. Malvin

  18. Update, the hulk pages sold! I though the Greg Land White Queen would go first, shows what I know. Other pieces I previously had there sold too. And finally, I am willing to listen to offers on them, not all prices are firm. Malvin
  19. I just uploaded a vintage Matt Wagner Mage sketch (of Edsel) I'm surprised at how vibrant the colours are despite the age! CAF Link Malvin
  20. Hi All, I recognize the Lopresti signature, but I don't recognize the signatures on the top I assume Lopresti only pencilled (or maybe inked) and someone else inked or coloured it.Does anyone recognize the signature? I will email Lopresti via his website now too, but if he only pencilled or inked, I think it's unlikely that he would know who did the restright. Thanks for looking Malvin
  21. heh, I like that art critic and portfolio review comment! Malvin
  22. I don't publicly state it, but I do recognize that some of the art I like are very mediocre, and nostalgia is the driving factor, not aesthetics. Malvin
  23. Hi Folks, This isn't really a convention, but I have an original Gary Frank piece with DC and Marvel Characters and I don't know where it was used. Heck, Gary Frank doesn't know either (but he knows it was more than just a commission to a fan). I've already asked in the original art forums and other places (such as direct with Gary Frank) Some theories include a Wizard Magazine cover but could not find anything. Another theory is a convention program book. Anyone go to a con around 2004 and remember this in their convention program guide? Thanks in advance for any help or info! Malvin
