  1. A very fancy cabinet/chest thingy to store all his art. Malvin
  2. Hi Folks, Time to do a mid auction bump, here are the items I consigned to comiclink and current prices: 1. 3. The difference between ~$11k and ~$13K while a lot to us mere mortal collectors, is not really materially significant in the grand scheme of things. I can't comment on the "Jim Lee Purist" collectors mentality, but I can say that in general, all things being equal, Wizard published pieces sell for less than a piece published by Marvel or DC. Malvin
  4. so tempted to click, but I'm at work and being on the boards is bad enough so I won't Malvin
  5. There is no standard. I remember back in the old days (which wasn't that long ago) when you would buy pages without scans, you would try to cite both and a description of a panel to be sure you are talking about the right page when buying art. Malvin
  6. Based on the previous posts, why would you think that it's not a photocopy? Malvin
  7. Steve Rude and George Perez Wonder Woman pages for sale Just to see if movies really do make a difference, I listed a couple of Wonder Woman pieces I have for sale! Check it out on my CAF, along with other pages, all with prices link to CAF FS Gallery You might also notice the same pieces on ebay, but ~10% more so buying direct is best Malvin
  8. Other than Guardians of the Galaxy, or other more obscure characters that suddenly gets thrust into the public consciousness, do movies really affect OA prices? Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman are so iconic and well known that I would be surprised if there was a material actual increase (actual sales, not people asking higher prices) Malvin
  9. Yeah, I had a negative experience with him years ago on ebay too. He won something and I think it was about 1K, which I needed to make other art purchases (the story of my collecting life). I then receive a claim on ebay about item not as described and he was saying the text bubbles were extremely yellow (which was quite evident in the scans) and some had fallen off (maybe it did). He then demanded a discount ($100) to make his claim (and the hold on the $1k in PayPal) go away. maybe the text bubbles did fall off and maybe it does bother him but I felt extorted. I just gave him the partial discount to go away. A few years later he inquired about items on my caf (that weren't for sale). I was about to sell when I realized it was him and said I won't sell to him. He must have a short memory because he tried to buy from me again a few years later. Malvin

  23. Yes. It's a great term. Although in theory you should only have 4 cornerstones unless yo have some sort of weirdly shaped house? like a castle? Also, since grails are by definition unattainable, I will forward you an empty package for using that term. Malvin
  24. Scott Free is his name? Are you sure you aren't being punked? The might be the real Mister Miracle. Malvin
