  6. OK, I'll do my part to bring this thread back on topic. I asked before, but I'm looking for the other half of this Dale Keown DPS CAF Link to my half I bought it by itself in 2011. A full DPS recently turned up on Heritage, which was perplexing, but it turns out that it was inked over blue lines (but used for publication) So if anyone knows where the hand drawn half of this DPS is, let me know! 8. Unless he was just shilling it, even if a percentage goes back to him, nothing wrong if he wins (I get $5 for every $100 I spend, I'll spend $1,000!. except you will be out $950 so that logic makes no sense) Malvin
  9. I respect your opinion but I think If you are donating an item for auction I think it's bad form to "win" it. I'm with LB, it doesn't matter who donates it, whoever bids the highest should win it, and the charity benefits. It's only a problem if the auction is "rigged" and someone was allowed to win something for way less than it should have gone for (e.g. by not allowing others to bid). I don't sees problem with someone giving something away and paying market value to get it back. Malvin

  23. I think there are 2 separate questions 1. If the actual art is restored, it really depends on what the restoration is 2. Adding overlays for word balloons and title logos is fine and could even enhance the piece, it doesn't alter the original piece and makes it more presentable. Malvin
