  1. No it was used, but little or no signs of wear. The Bosch Universal Mixers were big in the early 80's. They were primarily sought after because they were excellent for making bread dough. I was surprised the OO sold it to me so cheap. She said she put it on layaway when she was in college, for nearly a year. Used it maybe 30-40 times, then boxed it up when she got married and never used it again. She sold it and a 6 blade accessory kit that retailed for around $120 back then. It sold for $59. I bought both for $25
  2. If you meant the other stuff, like the Bosch mixer, yes he does. What he said
  3. Most of it. I have a FS thread in the MIxed Age MIsc. Section for the Playboys. 370 plus views, not even any PM offers. My sales threads usually do a lot better

  5. To all the Pervs and Prudes, from one extreme to the other - I finaly got a scanner and will be listing some midgrade 1970's Playboys and midgrade late 50's Dells (Disney and Cartoon titles) maybe some other junk as well
  6. FF 31 is one of the hardest in the 1-50 run to find in high grade, and in the 20 to 50 range, it may be the very hardest one to find. It's also usually miswrapped with the front wrapping to the back; yours is amazingly well-centered. VERY nice copy there indeed. (thumbs u THX James! I've been jonesing for a nice 9.0 for some time now...had a very nice 8.5 from jimjum as a placeholder copy...the last one I saw on the boards about a year and half ago Bob/namisgr beat me to it by about 5 minutes... I've been bugging Bob off and on via PM to sell me that copy...it got to the point where he wouldn't even answer me... Was that the 9.0 I had? I thought I had sold it to Bob, but I can't remember...it was a bad time period for me
  7. THANKS! If they'd just legalize marijuana, I think it'd actually come long even faster. Live in California
  8. Hey guys, I have about 20 BA Playboys from Nov 1970 thru June 1974. All but the Nov 1970 issue have the Alberto Vargas Pinup Girls. Not sure how to grade mags...They are all low to high mid grade (from G/VG to maybe VF-) . Some have minor foxing on FC and BC ... All have attached staples, though some have tearing around stapes. All are complete with the centerfolds. None of the pages are stuck together, nor are there any weird stains Most have the original subscription cards still stuck in them. If anyone can give me any advice pricewise how to list these things PLEASE PM me and lmk. I will be listing them as soon as I have some feedback. Thanks Thomas
  9. Welcome to the Boards! And yes, white paged copies bring a premium over lesser PQ, though 15% seems a rather ambiguous number
  10. ...And with one simple yet effective post, Barton snaps us back to reality and reminds us of our own mortality

  14. That was the Boston copy and it sold for the unworldly sum of $16K back in 2007. Later a Rocky Mountain 9.6 or 9.8 (I forgot which) eclipsed that mark There are no 9.8's! Just a couple 9.6's, then WHAM! -the 9.9. Yup it was a 9.6 sold in 2008, on comiclink. It went higher than the Boston copy.
  15. This is just as impressive! Nice book Thomas! Hope you are doing well. -Christian Thanks Christian! I'm doing well and thanks for asking!
