No, but almost. It was with Anthony for years on eBay $350 BIN, probably four or five. In November 2018 I offered $275 shipped but the best he could do was $315. I stepped off and it sold the next month and I haven't seen since!

Thanks for the backstory. Just got it through auction from comicconnect for what I thought was a good price. Not as good as 2018 prices though.

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 1

I've had these books for years now with #2 being the only one I didn't have signed personally.  This series featured first appearances for both Rat King and Leatherhead.

Finally!  Back story ... When I was a kid, I was a die-hard Daredevil collector. The guy who owned the comic shop (a couple of blocks from my house) used to save all the back issues of DD he got in so I could go thru them before he put them out. For my 13th Bday (1975), my sister asked him to locate a DD #1 for me. I'm pretty sure I coined the phrase "Giggity" long before Quagmire when I opened my present. Sadly, I sold it a few years later. I haven't had one in my collection since. Until now.

Congratulations. When I was a kid, I could only dream of ever owning a DD1.

  4. IMO, the difference should be clearly identified and not the same yellow label color as witnessed books. This would be fair to those who already own and will possess the premium process of witnessed signatures going forward.  A witnessed signature is 100% authentic & as mentioned previously, a verified signature is an opinion and not 100% proven. Also, as mentioned earlier, a verified signature should get a blue label with a notification that the signature has been verified. These can then be noted after sales in GPA like "newsstand editions" are now. These verified signatures should not affect the current signature series census in any way shape or form. As a collector of primarily yellow label CGC books, this topic has got my attention.  As a secondary point, if you want to continue to call yourself the gold standard company, please dont do what your competitors are already doing on this subject. Are you listening here @CGC Comics ??
