  1. Here is another new addition to my HOM collection..Oh, this has a great Kirby story inside to boot!
  2. Would there be any interest in the MASS. copies of MY GREATEST ADVENTURES and DOOM PATROL?? (full run of the DP) I was thinking $9K-$11K... Any thoughts?
  3. Ahh, I love the "earthy" Greek look that Andru gave Diana in his early issues. Its a shame that look only lasted a few issues.... What can I say.. I like Mediterranean women (hey, my wife was a'born in Italy)! Bill
  4. YUP, that's a real beaut! Very rare in that nice condition. My favorite Suicide Squad cover is, of course, #25. Bill
  5. Sweet!!! Where did you pick that up? Is that the infamous "8-Ball" edition? Bill
  6. Thanks all! Yeah, the 194 - is my favorite too. It looks even nicer in person. The background pink is quite stricking.
  7. Here are some great raw Northland HOM issues. The covers are really bright and glossy. I think these are some of the best copies out there... Enjoy!
  8. Love those Standards. Standard Comics are perhaps the most underrated books of the ealry 50's. Wonderful stuff!
  9. Two new additions to my HOUSE OF SECRETS collection. What can I say, I just love exotic women covers!
  10. Cool! I was re-reading this book and I realized that there is a possible Dum Dum Dugan prototype in this book. The story is about a GI who wears a derby - just like Fury's right hand man. Maybe Heck suggested the character to Lee and or Kirby when the Howlers were created? As Artie Johnston used to say..."Veeeerry Interesting".
  11. Here are some of the later issues of BATTLE - at the twilight of the Atlas era. These issues contain some great and rare Kirby and Ditko war stories. Bill
  12. Ok, this one is kinda pre-Silver, but its a great Don Heck cover and story. These Comic Media books dont get enough attention. Bill
  13. Your's is definitely a beautiful copy. Any reason you've never gotten it graded? What do you mean? I'm sure Adam has already graded this book himself!
  14. Wonderful run Tom. I never get tired of looking at those beauts!
  15. Did someone say Yellow Craw? AtlasFan; I knew you wouldn't let me down!!! But are you hitting the bottle early tonight??? That scan is a little crooked!!! Its not the bottle, its the crack! Here are a few straighter images... These books have some of the best 50's Kirby work. Very far out stuff, I would say that Jack was about 10 years ahead of his time with some of the graphic layouts he did in YC.
  16. Super-cool Ditko cover. Do you have the Ditko Charlton Robin Hood issue? Awesome covers!
  17. I don't want to neglect this thread too much.. So many wonderful covers are displayed here! Here is new addition to my collection. I must admit, it is a sweet book!
  18. HOLY ZONKERS! Beaumonts is on steroids today! Wonderful books -- and they only seem to get better!
  19. Here is a really nice issue I got here on the board... from trmoore54 (great guy!) I usually don't get Charltons, but I couldnt resist this great black Ditko cover. WOW.
  20. I just picked this one up last week. Another yeller cover.. with a great Kirby sci-fi story, no less.
