  1. I've been hearing 7-10 business days to be received, but at this point I have no idea how many packages they are receiving a day. its kind of chaotic right now lol.
  2. Hold on let me get a drink, my head is still dizzy from laughter.
  3. Dude I am crying laughing right now. I have never in my life been accosted by the presence of RottenTomatoes royalty. Truly incredible times I am living through. I think I'm starting to enjoy myself here again.
  4. Saying you were the #1 contributor on RT is not the flex you think it is LMAO what did I just read
  5. True, but it's just not efficient. Why not just have one thread where individuals going through the same situation can discuss vs taking over a whole page of a forum?
  6. I honestly don't expect to see any changes until May. A new building and new employees just to support a new division that's not even a year old? There are just so many moving parts and variables right now it must be chaotic.
  7. Thank you for providing the info. I guess wait is the only option.
  8. Just a quick survey of CGC subscribers here. Between USPS, UPS, and FedEx which return shipping service do you guys choose, and how fast do you get your packages back? I currently have a package being sent via USPS, but I'm guessing registered mail is slowing down the process quite a bit.
  9. Out of curiosity, has anyone actually asked for their cards back yet?
  10. I try, but the same topic literally takes over the front page every time and there is no way to resolve your issue besides just asking for your cards back at this point. Like you could probably send them to another grading service but it'll take just as long to get them back, if not longer. I'm seriously sorry you are stuck in this predicament but no one can help you, especially if you're not willing to wait and see if the new building and employees can even make a difference.
  11. I looked HGA up yesterday. From what I can tell they don’t grade Pokemon cards, just sport cards at the moment. It’s really tiring seeing the same complaint thread posted everyday it seems. Takes the fun out of these forums for me.
  12. There is a separate address listed for CGC Trading Cards. Always check the confirmation email or packing slip to be sure.
  13. It’s sucks. I’m not denying it’s a bad situation to just be stuck in, but at this point what can you do. Every grading company is swamped. You chose to send your cards in at the lowest tier possible, alongside thousands of other individuals at the same time, to a new grading service that could only had so much capacity. They got so swamped with orders they had to buy a new building and hire new staff just to try and catch up and that’s still being worked out. Everybody is tied up. Unless orders magically stop it’s not going to be resolved for a while. You can say you feel you’ve been wronged. That’s fine. I understand that perfectly. But this is a situation that is so far beyond our control.
  14. I would ask customer service about this tbh. I assume/hope the pricing would be what they quoted you on the invoice/packaging slip.
  15. Estimates don’t count as false advertisements. LMAO. They even go as far as stating “Turnaround times are approximate and not guaranteed.” If they had said “guaranteed” then maybe your argument would actually hold water. If you want to take another route and go after the word “approximate” go right ahead, but it still doesn’t change the fact it’s tied to “not guaranteed”.
  16. You’re sure there are laws about this, but haven’t actually done the research nor provided said laws in order to support your claim. But they’re there. For sure. Sir. LOL.
  17. I guess, but that’s a lot of hands for one card to be graded. They’d probably have to be graded in batches and sent station to station which adds moving time. Also, specialized training won’t help graders with being well rounded in their expertise, so they may make poor judgement if they get moved to surface for a day and all they routinely know is corners.
  18. Bulk would have to increase in price to match economy’s price point. There would be an insurance gap between and $100 and $1000 otherwise.
  19. We’re paying a premium for knowledge and expertise most people don’t have, so even if they hire newbies they still need to train them on what to look for. CGC 10s are notoriously hard to get, so if untrained graders start flooding the market with 10s by being lenient then the value of everyone’s collection goes down.
  20. Definitely some wild times. I sent a standard order during mid February so I guess I got lucky and had them received before the giant wave of March submissions.
  21. Okay so I'm willing to put this to the test, for Express and Standard at least. When I submitted my first EX it was a 15 day TAT that got lowered to 11. On day 10, I was scheduled for grading and the TAT went up to 22 day. On day 12, it was shipped back. I still have one standard order that was received when the TAT was 25 days, and an express that was received when TAT was 11. If stuff is getting "grandfathered" in, My express should be in grading by the 25th and my standard by the 31st. This is assuming all runs according to plan though, and I'm not holding my breath for that haha.
  22. Perfection. Haha. No scuffs, no scratches, no print lines, no creases or indentations.
  23. It can take anywhere from 1-10 business days for cards to get logged in (it really depends on how many orders are received and from what tier). I've had express orders take 6 days, I've had express orders get logged the day after delivery. After it is received, it won't change again until a few days before it's actually graded. Right now TATs (turn around times) are kinda volatile for each tier, so if you have questions I would just send their customer service an email.
