  4. I mean, if there’s nothing to report there’s nothing to report. It’s like watching the same news story run for a week straight. Paul seems to be giving updates here and there when asked (like the early December orders being worked) but if you ask him the same question every single day you can’t expect much, aside from pestering him
  5. Woah. Standard is now 22 days, express 11 days, and walkthrough 2 days. I guess those price increases worked. (Well, maybe not for bulk or economy)
  6. I would assume everybody in the last 2 weeks sent in bulk, so while bulk and economy have been impacted, all the more expensive tiers have pretty much slowed down to a fraction of what was coming in weeks prior.
  7. More than anything I think people are disillusioned about how many cards are in storage right now. It’s not just the people that post on this forum. There are hundred if not thousands of people who submit across all the tiers without ever glancing at the boards. People have been saying CGC is hiring new graders, but if you hire 20 and then 100,000 cards come in they’re still going to be overwhelmed.
  8. I wonder if they don’t do it because they keep getting more and more submissions (upper tier) which pushes back bulk and economy. That’s the reason I wouldn’t do it, it would just aggravate people more to say you’re working on their stuff and then say “oh, well we pushed it back”.

  14. Just barely, and I’m talking the glue strip gets over the top edge and sticks to the slab itself. Not a perfect fit and definitely recommend getting the graded card size instead.
  15. They sell graded card sleeves specifically for slabs. Basically a team bag, only longer so it can wrap over the top. Certain team bags might work, but even then it’ll barely wrap over the top. Best to get the ones made for slabs.
  16. My trading card kit just shipped. Processing took about 6 business days.
  17. Technically this is a free kit if you purchase the premium membership. They email you a $20 code you can use at checkout to redeem, although I believe it said shipping times were impacted. I’ll see how long it takes them to ship mine out and post it here.
  18. I’ve been buying my card savers off eBay and Amazon. CGC also sells card savers but I’m not sure about their shipping times.
  19. Thanks for the screenshot. Looks like standard was around 6 weeks for you? I have one standard order and 2 express orders so I’ll be interested in seeing how those turnarounds go.
  20. There’s no real timeline to get your cards back tbh. There is an estimated turnaround, but it fluctuates. You need to contact the middleman you went through so they can check if the order they sent out (with your cards) has any status updates.
  21. I guessed something like this might happen, so on my first sub I just paid extra for standard haha.
  22. I’m pretty sure it’s been clearly stated on the website and on forms that turnaround times are approximate. The company can’t spontaneously produce an extra 30 graders on the spot to meet demand if there’s a spike in submissions. Yes you can be disappointed, but none of us are guaranteed an approximate turnaround. Patience is key.
  23. Update. Received 2/25. For those of you curious, my Standard order was received 4 days after delivery. Express was received 1 day after delivery.
  24. Yeah it’s a whole other division so probably no reason why it would impact TCG processing. I will say that anything sent express or walkthrough is received into the system almost immediately it seems. Your CSG and my CGC were both 1 business day after delivery.
