Several local shops have been contacted etc. I just know that in the past the board detectives have helped out a bit in these situations, so if you have any info please lmk.

Am I looking at this fee chart wrong? It looks to me like the $15 is for fast tracking the pressing, and not the grading..There doesn't seem to be an increase for fast tracking on a straight sub...

Been grabbing these for years. Time to move these onto someone else. Some of these things are pretty rare, and a lot of them I wouldn't even believe exist if I didn't have them myself Not breaking up the lot, so please don't ask for individual books. There are multiples of some of them, but no real duplication. You can see what's here in the pics...Condition wise, most of these aren't going to win any beauty contests. If you collect these, you know how these were handled back in the day, and a lot of them were saved from cheap boxes after that, so...don't be expecting any 9.8's. It's safe to assume that the majority are in that VG to VF area, but I didn't go through and grade each one since I'm selling them as a big lot. Paypal/checks, MO. If we come to a deal, please be prepared to pay by Sunday night. I'll likely be shipping on Tuesday. $550 takes the lot including shipping.

These are not your typical overstock type trades that you see in bargain bins at shows. Lots of older and harder to find ones. I went through my bookshelf/inventory and just put anything I had duplicates of, or figured I wouldn't read again into piles. One Marvel, One DC, and one "Other" which is comprised of lots of Image, Dark Horse etc. These would be great for an Amazon or Ebay seller that wants to piece them out. I'm sure there are ones in these lots that get good Amazon $. I just don't have the time for it, so I'm offering them cheap as lots. Most of these are pretty nice. There may be a few that have some wear etc, but by and large they are fairly nice. A lot of them were bought new and just put on a shelf and never read (hence why they're going in these lots ) You could theoretically just keep the ones you want, sell the rest individually and have them for free essentially. Gotcha. That's cool. I've never tried buying from them because of the lack of asking prices/hearing that you get a different answer depending on a number of random factors. Beyond that the whole adding stats to art and acting like it was meant to be a cover, or that it was a cover is a scummy practice. There seems to be plenty of evidence pointing to them doing that. Glad you've had good experiences though. I imagine that you paid up for what you've gotten, but if it's been a while those would probably be no brainer steal prices in today's market.

Land gets a lot of hate, and I get it (I guess) but man do I love his work. I have several of his X-men pages. I have a neat one from this time period with her and Xorn. Fantastic choice on this one!
