  1. DDOS attacks are done using botnets with many thousands (or millions) of compromised machines flooding the targeted server. 1000 computers just indicates that Chuck's servers are under-powered.
  2. After this sub I just need the Apollo & Midnighter cover of #5 and my v2 set is done. After how many years? 3. I'm breaking up another run I'm never going to finish. This one is actually pretty complete, but I'm still going to focus on some different things going forward so I'm pulling the plug on putting together this run. 4. I haven't shared anything here in a while. It's October, I draw a monster every day. It's what I do (9 years and running). This year I'm doing monsters/creatures/aliens from TV and movies. Brush markers on sketchbook paper. 5" by 5"
  5. As an aside, I am over the moon about that Strange Tales #135. I've wanted another copy for a while so getting a nice looking pedigree copy makes me happy.

  7. I'm guessing that would be brutal to put together.
  8. This is one of those runs, like many from the 1980s and (especially!) 1990s, that is harder than you think it would be. It took me a couple of years to get #283 and Annual #18 and I was doing so with little concern for what it actually cost me. "rob, why didn't you just buy a couple of Byrne runs off of eBay and just sub them yourself, if you didn't care about cost? They're all over the place." ?
  9. +1. I had a $200 bounty on Annual 18. I ended up paying $99. I forget what I had on the table for #283, but it was a lot, as well.

  11. Thanks! I've got a couple more to share tonight
