  1. There's a weird scanner artifact on this one. Also, we're going to start to see more pedigrees.
  2. If you know the story of the White Mountain books, you'll know the anecdote of Jerry opening one of the big keys and having the pages audibly separate because they were so tight and hadn't been opened in ages. This book was like that. It's perfect, other than the big bindery tear.
  3. It's a perfect copy for me. Cap isn't a primary title for me, so I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, but I wanted a nice looking one.
  4. I'm in the middle of scanning my whole graded collection. So, here's this:
  5. Coming soon, a parade of Silver Age 9.8s at ComicLink. What a crazy set of books. One consignor?
  6. And then there were three. Upgraded from a 9.2. Now I just need upgrades of #7, #86 and Annual 3.
  7. I had just re-read The Authority (in Absolute edition, no less) when this series came out. It's a completely different book. So much more subtle. It's a real treat to be able to compare the two takes 20+ years apart.
  8. It's a different kind of story. It's like Ellis' personal work over the past decade or so. Which is a bonus, as far as I'm concerned. I've really been enjoying the run so far.
  9. I collect prints and have had work done on them without giving it a second thought. In fact, I bought a Whistler print with the specific goal of getting it restored since the overall cost would still be a bargain.
