Hey all, I've been garbage at tracking all of these books (and ComicLink is stingy with archived data) and I need to make up for that, so I can add this pedigree to the Existence and Grades of Silver Age Key Books From the Major Pedigree Collections list. The Fantucchio keys are not universally high grade, but Fantucchio has what I think is one of the the deepest collections of keys out of any of the major Silver Age pedigrees. To that end, does anyone know anything more that they can add to this list? (also, as always, if you've got any additions to the existing list, let me know!) I expect that there were copies of Avengers 4, Fantastic Four 2 and 5 and I know there was a Daredevil 7, I just don't know the grade. Amazing Fantasy 15? Avengers #4? Daredevil 7 grade? That press release is how I knew it was Sparkle City

All of the auctions are dead. Ebay purges their results after 60 days. It sold this June for around $175k

As a note! The Captain America Comics #1 solid in the auction had sold previously, by Sparkle city, on eBay, in 2012 for $71,100. Before that it sold for $23,500 in July of 2010

FWIW, these are probably the best copies of these books that didn't come out of Edgar church's basement. I've been poking around the Superman census recently and there are only three 9.8s total from the 1940s. All three are in this auction.

I need to buy this on for my 9.8 All-Star Superman set.

It's a pretty nice set and if you collect Daredevil v2 you'll never have a better chance to fill in some holes in your run.
