I know demand is way down for these pre-hero books, they're overpriced in the Guide anyway, the issues kinda suck too... but I thought "What the hey?", so I picked this up in a trade yesterday.

Picked this up today at the Philly show. Always liked the look on Superman's face as he swims towards the German sub. You just know there's going to be hell to pay!

I have to give major thanks to rick for hooking me up with one of my all-time grails today. Thanks again. This one's a keeper for sure. Man I absolutely love this book.

recently picking up the larson fantastic 4 and the 5.0 fantastic 3 has made me want my 1-8 fantastics run up thru July '40 to be in nice shape. so, i reacquired my old 2 and have obtained a 6 that i've wanted for a long time. the undercopy 2 is in the forum, but there was no 6 in the box 'til now. thanks to a boardie for these beauts.

i was sitting by ro' when he won the weird. about 30 seconds later he asked if i'd like to trade mine, head-up. i said "but mine is a 4.0." he explained that the pinnacle hill sticker made his equal in value. that crazy california kid.

 

The Pinnacle Hill premium is a big deal here in California
