  1. I managed to pick up 5 cheaper double cover issues from the ComicConnect auction: Marvel's Greatest Comics #47 Mighty Marvel Western #11 Red Wolf #8 OMAC #4 OMAC #8 When I received them, the outer cover to the Mighty Marvel Western #11 was completely detached. Would CGC reject this if I elected to have it slabbed?
  2. In the NBA they would call that a double double!
  3. Here's my copy that I picked up off of eBay last year: I'm calling it about a 1.8 (GD-) due to the stain across the top of the front cover (looks like some kind of tape stain...not sure). What's funny is you'll notice the shadowing of the lettering from the top of the front cover has transferred to the top of the back cover. It's almost like something happened to the book when the front cover was opened and wrapped around behind the back cover. Anyway, I'm glad to have a copy of this book. It completed my entire X-Men run from 1 thru today's newest issue. I took advantage of the big Windows Live discounts that were going on last year and only paid about $375 for this copy. (thumbs u
  4. Great War Is Hell books! If I had known they were on ComicLink I would have been bidding against you.....

  8. ill trade u my first born...deal? You can have BOTH of my kids! Holy Samoleans! Dat's one nice book!
  9. Big kudos to Wrightson fan for a couple of nice slabs and a sweet X-Men #268. Packaging was excellent! Thanks Scott!
  10. Kudos to seanfingh for 3 nice Marvel Bronze Age horror slabs. Thanks Sean!
  11. As usual, Korvac brings the goods. If you ever tire of the 83...... Thanks Bill!! Or if I upgrade......... Really nice looking 4.5. Thanks! Had to grab a copy before the prices go completely Congrats on your very very awesome grab..it does look mighty sweet.. aaaaaaaand coincidentally, with the book I was just about to post, acquired two days ago. Much smaller printing than the original and it was distributed all throughout South America...some survived..this is one of them ..from the summer of 63.. See, this is interesting. The JIM 83 cover on the South American issue is the "unedited" version of the original, as published, JIM 83. Note the number of "Stone Men From Saturn" descending on Thor. I think I like the edited version better. Thor stands out more in the edited version (which was probably the point).
  12. Kudos right back at you Sebastian for the purchase of the 6 Batman slabs and being great to work with!
  13. Very nice book Jackie! Thank you! A keeper for sure. I got a few doc savages back at 9.4 also but got ragged on for even sending them in so no pics.. Hey...any book you think is worth sending in is worth sending in. Let's see the Doc Savage pics. I'll clap for ya. (thumbs u
