  5. WOW! Not only did he not disclose the restoration, but gave it a huge bump from a 3.5 to a 5.0. Some people will do anything to make a buck. Maybe I should offer him $827 (a buck more than he paid on ComicLink) and see if he catches on.
  6. Kudos to october for a couple of sweet Vault of Evil raw issues. Thanks Andy!
  7. Kudos to one of my best board sellers cloudofwit for a sweet copy of a Human Torch #1 (1974-75 series). Thanks again Scott!
  8. I think that's why stickies exist. So we won't have to do what you just stated. Sure, but I was just suggesting it because everyone wants something different stickied and with 8 stickies already in general they are already taking up lots of real estate. Up to you guys how you want to handle it. I'm just offering a suggestion. Another option would be to place it in the rules at the start of every Selling Forum or sticky it just in the Selling Forums. That way nobody would be able to miss it if they were buying or selling books but it would not clutter General. Roy, I agree with you there. No sense placing the sticky in every forum. Just placing it at the top of each selling forum would suffice. (thumbs u
  9. I think that's why stickies exist. So we won't have to do what you just stated.
  10. I and a bunch of other people have stated the same thing. So mods....can we get this taken care of?
  11. Isn't it spelled Raccoon (see label)?
  12. Yes...same here. Thanks for the great books and great prices Brian!
  13. My entire comic collection will be put up for sale starting tomorrow. I have about 50,000 comics so at $20 per that means I want 1 million dollars for them. Payment should be by certified check only unless you want to give me a new house, 2 new cars, a yacht and Tiger Woods' future ex-wife.
  14. Fresh from yesterdays' shipment: The #359, 361, 364 and 370 have already sold while the #363 and the Cacophony are still available.
  15. Kudos to greggy for a couple of nice Hulk slabs from the Daniel Silvers auction. Greg....I'm sorry but I'm going to have to sue you. It took me so long to cut through all those layers of bubble wrap that my carpal tunnel syndrome has returned. Nice packing job!
  16. You're looking for an AF #15 huh? I think I might have an extra Atari Force #15 laying around here somewhere.....
  17. Well, my shipment of Batman slabs is FINALLY arriving today. Once I get the books and get pics taken of each slab, they'll all be going up for sale in the Copper/Modern Age Only selling area this afternoon.
  18. Can anyone state (in general terms) what the most valuable TMNT books are? I'm aware of a few, but do they have to be 1st printings and in CGC 9.8 to be worth anything substantial? I did check GPA on some of them and it doesn't seem that many of these books have been graded. Is that because of low distribution, lack of submission or just hard to find in high grade? And what about Tales of the TMNT? Are any of them worth having? I have a bunch of TMNT books but not sure if any of them are worth slabbing or not. Any constructive information would be great.
  19. Kudos to comix4fun for a sweet Hero Initiative: Mike Wieringo Book #1 Signature Series in CGC 9.8 signed by 13 different artists. Thanks Chris!
  20. Just received this one in today's mail from comix4fun (Chris): Book is signed by 13 different artists!
