  1. I just PM'd cavecarson asking him to update the list. I posted back in November and it's still not on the list. Mike
  2. I have so many frigging comic books I'm beginning to look at my duplicates as a collection in themselves. Color me crazy but I'm actually looking forward to the day when my day job goes away (in 2-3 months) so I can work on my comic collection for a couple of months. Hopefully I can sell a bunch of the dupes on the bay or I might even start a website.
  3. Kudos to Count for safe packaging and accurate grading on an ASM #117 VF+ from his recent sales thread. Thanks Nelson!
  4. I'm going to be having a "1/3 of Guide Priority Mail Flat Rate Box" sale all of this coming weekend. As many of you know I have thousands of duplicate Marvel and DC comics and it's time to unload many of them. Each flat rate box will contain 40 to 50 bagged and boarded comics. I will list all of the comics that are contained in each particular box and their grades along with the price for that box. Shipping is included within the United States. Shipping to Canada or Mexico is an extra $15.00 while all other international sites is an extra $30.00. I'll start the sale on Saturday morning and I'll be adding books all weekend long and on Monday. Shark
  5. If I was to ever hoard a Silver Age ASM issue it would be this one.
  6. Big kudos to JMarch51 for a very fast shipment and excellent packing job of a new Cap slab! (thumbs u
  7. If there's one thing I've learned in my lifetime, it's that when you're having a disagreement/argument/problem/whatever with someone, it is best that you stay away from each other for an hour or so and give yourself time to contemplate what REALLY just happened. Quite often emotions get in the way of clear thinking. Give yourself time to think about what happened and why it happened the way it did. Quite often you start thinking of the other person's view and realize you yourself might have done or said something to make the situation even worse.
  8. Big kudos to Comcasthawk for a sweet Marvel Collectors' Item Classics #4 from a recent sales thread. Spot-on grading and good packaging job. (thumbs u
  9. Seeing that I have high grade hoards of all of these comics and I need to raise more funds for my AF15 purchase, I'm going to be listing ALL of my Uncanny X-Men CGC 9.8's (12 in all). The issues I'll be listing are #198, 201, 207, 211, 213, 218, 221, 222, 234, 239, 244 and 248. They will be priced at or slightly below 12-month GPA. (thumbs u I'll be starting the sales thread later this morning to give more boardies time to wake up.
  10. Kudos right back at ya Scott for another seamless deal between us. (thumbs u
  11. I would LOVE to have your "OK" set of Spideys! Very nice!
  12. Kudos to McMiles for the safe and quick shipment of a Spidey #175 slab.
  13. Kudos to skypinkblu (Sharon) for a small batch of comics from her VCC sale. Mike
  14. Kudos back at ya for the quick payment. (thumbs u Boy, you've really been on a buying spree haven't you? Guess you took my place since I quit buying for a while!
  15. A box should be arriving today with a bunch of earlier DD and FF issues along with a mess of TTA issues and a few keys (Sgt. Fury #1, Strange Tales #110 & #135, JIM #109, Silver Surfer #2, etc.) which I traded OA for. I'll be putting all of these up for sale here on the boards either tonight or tomorrow depending on how fast I can get them all scanned. The DD's range between issues 12 to 50, the FF's from 16 thru 96 with some annuals thrown in and the TTA's range bettween issues 60 and 101. The Sgt. Fury #1 and Strange Tales #110 will be low grade while the ST #135, JIM #109 and Silver Surfer #2 should be mid-grade.
  16. Big kudos to the following boardies: 1) Dawgwindu for a sweet Unusual Tales #12 featuring some Steve Ditko art. 2) BlowUpTheMoon for 5 nice Bronze Age Marvel slabs. 3) ebradley for a nice Wolverine Limited Series slab. Thanks guys! (thumbs u
  17. Just picked this one up off of eBay for a pretty cheap price.
  18. Bravo. Absolutely spectacular. Pre-Hero Marvels in high grade.
  19. Fixed that for ya. (thumbs u If you can't get your mess together and ship stuff in a timely manner then don't list it. Why would someone offer something for sale here on the boards when they don't even know where it's at???
  20. I'm not really worried that he has scammed me, but things can fall between the cracks. A little communication is all that I ask. Mike Mike, did Adam not give you his phone number? GIve him a call. I bought a big big book recently from him, he had cashed the check. I gave him a call, and he immediately overnighted the book and all was well. Just give him a call. I personally think you guys are giving Adam too much leeway here. We all have personal problems that prevent us from getting things done in a timely manner but to me waiting a month to ship a book is just plain ridiculous. If I waited a month to ship a comic to a buyer through eBay they'd be screaming their heads off and I wouldn't blame them. I really don't care how nice of a guy you are or how big of a you are. If I pay you promptly for a book I expect you to ship it within a reasonable amount of time - period. And reasonable to me is 1 to 2 weeks - not 1 to 2 months (unless you're shipping internationally). For those of you who have paid for books and haven't received them after a couple of weeks you should be concerned. Having to call a guy just to remind him to ship your book is not good news. Neither is the lack of communication from the seller.
