  1. If you are open to offering semi smaller chunks of the Robin, Batman and/or Tec, I’d be game (e.g. 10-20+ issue stretches)
  2. Given the unreliability of eBay, where are the best places to go for authentic wrestler autographs?
  3. OUCH! Great deal on that one-- would have absolutely pulled the trigger on this had I seen it.
  4. Was able to go back to my LCS yesterday and flip through some long boxes and fills some gaps in my collection. Absolutely nothing fancy purchased: UXM 189 and 240 along with Batman 477-80. VF/NM to NM- condition but nothing more than a few bucks each -- either in cost or in value. But man, did it feel good to flip through and buy some funny books even if I did look like an exterminator! :P
  5. It is missing the centerfold I'm looking at a 0.5 PR technical grade but it presents nicely!
  6. And because the dealer had this little beauty, too, I couldn't help myself 😁 Shadow of the Bat #0
  7. Not on most people's radar, I know, but if there has been comic I've wanted original art from, it was ROBIN: JOKER'S WILD. It was one of those comics that just stick with me as a kid and it remains a favorite. Anyhow, I saw a great page up for sale, and while not the original line art from Tom Lyle, and it IS the original hand colored art from Adrienne Roy. It's a great page set up and pops in person. Not a Kirby, Miller or someone else, but for me, I've posted here about wanting a page from this mini almost as long as I've been a member here. Issue #1, P. 7
  8. Wow. Steal of a deal!! Man...so many awesome duck books in this thread.
  9. Yeah, I had Gobots bc we couldn't afford Transformers. But man, I LOVED Optimus. I still remember when he first died in the movie... 😭😭😭😭😭😭
  10. I know it's a little rough, but I got myself a G1 Optimus Prime to go with my Rodimus Prime.
  11. I've been looking to recatalog my comics collection as it's been probably close to 7-8 years since I've properly sorted through everything and cataloged the acquisitions I've picked up in the years since. I used to use Excel and included estimated values, but I really don't want to spend THAT much time doing it. A friend of mine recommended the Collectorz software. I see there are three versions - mobile, desktop, and cloud-based. I'd like something I can use regardless of my platform (e.g. both phone and my laptop). How many of you use it and what are your thoughts on the different versions?
  12. First, the signatures look legit to me. 20:1 the first you posted is from when Jack was much older, as you can see there's a little shakiness to the line. Second, the book definitely depends. I got mine for around $75-$125 a few years ago, but it was a non-key issue. Keep in mind, the other collector and I both knew he was giving me a steal of a deal as there aren't anywhere near as many Kirby signatures as there are from Stan Lee.
  13. Latest addition to the budding duck collection!
  14. I've been eyeballing one of these on eBay for years -- being locked in the house finally led me to pulling the trigger. I'm kind of leaning towards an Optimus next...
  15. That Golden Helmet issue is a great looking cover!!
